ends to roll hair.
12. Use hairsetter on a level surface.
13. Do not touch the posts that hold the rollers.
They are hot.
14. Do not use an extension cord with
this appliance.
15. Do not operate the unit with a voltage
converter.

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place hairsetter on flat surface and plug into
outlet. Red light should illuminate, indicating the
hairsetter is on and heating rollers. This appliance
has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not
fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not
attempt to defeat this safety feature.
2. Allow rollers to heat with lid closed, as this
will provide the fastest, most efficient heat-
up. Once the rollers are hot, you can begin
setting your hair. Allow rollers to heat longer
for tighter curls. One roller has a “ready dot”
on top. The ready dot will turn from red to
transparent white, indicating optimum curling
temperature has been reached. Never leave
your hairsetter on and unattended. Always
unplug the hairsetter when not in use. Allow
hairsetter to cool, and store in a safe place.
3. Hair should be clean and dry or slightly damp
– never wet – when setting. Hair will not set
correctly if too damp.

MAINTENANCE
Your hairsetter is designed for household use
and is virtually maintenance free. This product
represents the highest standards of workmanship
and engineering. If cleaning becomes necessary,
disconnect the appliance from the power source.
Allow to cool, and wipe unit with a damp cloth.
Occasionally you may want to clean your rollers.
To do so, use a damp cloth and mild detergent
or soap. If abnormal conditions occur, unplug
the hairsetter, allow it to cool, and return it to an
authorized service representative for repair.
STORAGE
Allow hairsetter to cool. Handle cord carefully for
longer life; avoid jerking or straining at plug con-
nections. Place hairsetter out of reach of children in
a safe, dry location.
HOW TO CURL YOUR HAIR:
SMALL ROLLERS
Use on short to medium-length hair to cre-
ate fullness or a tight curl. Tight curls can be
created at the nape of the neck and used to
frame your face.
MEDIUM ROLLERS
Can be used on medium to long hair to create a
loose, yet bouncy and full curl.
LARGE ROLLERS
Can be used on medium to long hair to create
loose curls and volume, or the smooth, sleek
lines of sophisticated hairstyles.
1. Place ends of hair on roller and wind toward
scalp. Roll hair firmly and secure roller with a
clip by crossing clip over roller.
2. The firmness of the curl is regulated by several
factors: heat-up time, diameter of roller, and
length of time roller is left in the hair. For tight,
firm curls, use small-sized rollers. For longer-
lasting curls, the rollers should be allowed to
heat up longer and left in the hair for a longer
period of time before removing.
3. For soft, curvy curls and volume, use medium
or large-sized rollers. After using your hairsetter
several times, you will find the best timing
and roller sizes needed to attain the hairstyle
desired.
4. To remove rollers, hold roller in one hand and
remove clip with the other hand. Gently drop
roller (DO NOT PULL) and let curl bounce back
once roller has been removed from hair. Let
cool for one minute for a good set, then style
your hair as desired.

OPERACIÓN
1. Coloque el aparato sobre una superficie
llana y conéctelo a una toma de corriente.
La luz roja se encenderá, lo que indica que
el aparato está encendido y que los rulos
están calentando. El cable de este aparato
está dotado de una clavija polarizada (una
pata es más ancha que otra). Como medida
de seguridad, se podrá enchufar de una sola
manera en la toma de corriente polarizada.
Si no entrara en la toma de corriente,
inviértela. Si aún no entrara completamente,
comuníquese con un electricista. No intente ir
en contra de esta función de seguridad.
2. Mantenga la cubierta cerrada hasta que
los rulos estén calientes; esto logrará un
calentamiento más rápido y efectivo. Empiece
a fijar el cabello cuando los rulos lleguen
a la temperatura deseada. Para obtener
rizos apretados, deje que los rulos calienten
por más tiempo. Uno de los rulos tiene un
indicador térmico rojo. El indicador térmico
se volverá transparente cuando el rulo llegue
a la temperatura óptima. Nunca deje el
aparato desatendido después de encenderlo.
Desconecte el aparato después de usarlo.
Después del uso, permita que el aparato se
enfríe y guárdelo en un lugar seguro.
3. Su cabello debería estar limpio y seco,
o ligeramente húmedo. No fije el cabello
mojado. Si el cabello est demasiado húmedo, á
no logrará buenos resultados.

DE MANTENIMIENTO
Este producto p2-ha sido diseñado para uso
doméstico y requiere poco mantenimiento. Ha
sido fabricado usando un alto nivel de tecnología
y competencia. Cuando sea necesario limpiarlo,
desenchúfelo, permita que se enfrié y limpie
el cuerpo del aparato con un paño ligeramente
humedecido. De vez en cuando, limpie los
rulos usando un paño húmedo y detergente o
jabón suave. En caso de mal funcionamiento,
desconecte el aparato, permita que se enfríe y
regréselo a un centro de servicio autorizado.
ALMACENAJE
Permita que el aparato se enfríe. Manipule el
cable con cuidado para prolongar su vida útil. No
lo tironee ni lo retuerza, especialmente al nivel
del enchufe. Guarde el aparato en un lugar seco
y seguro, fuera del alcance de los niños.
CÓMO MARCAR EL CABELLO
RULOS PEQUEÑOS
Úselos para dar volumen y crear rizos apretados
sobre el cabello corto o medio-largo. Rizos
apretados son perfectos en la nuca y alrededor
del rostro.
RULOS MEDIANOS
Úselos para crear rizos suaves, elásticos y con
cuerpo sobre cabello medio-largo o largo.
RULOS GRANDES
Úselos para crear estilos sofisticados, con líneas
suaves y elegantes, sobre cabello medio-largo o
largo.
1. Separe una sección de cabello, coloque las
puntas en el centro del rulo y enrolle éste hacia
el cuero cabelludo. Enrolle el cabello firmemente
y sujete el rulo con una pinza puesta alrededor
del mismo.
2. La textura de los rizos dependerá del diámetro
de los rulos, de su temperatura y del tiempo de
pausa. Para obtener rizos apretados y firmes,
utilice rulos más pequeños. Para conseguir rizos
más duraderos, permita que los rulos se calienten
por más tiempo y déjelos en el cabello durante
más tiempo.
3. P ara crear ondas y rizos suaves, utilice rulos
medianos o grandes. La experiencia le enseñará
cuánto tiempo dejar los rulos en el cabello para
conseguir los resultados deseados.
4. Para quitar los rulos, sostenga el rulo con
una mano y retire el clip con la otra. Deslice
suavemente el rulo (NO LO JALE) y permita que el
cabello rebote libremente. Permita que el cabello
se enfríe durante un minuto antes de peinarlo para
"fijar" los rizos.
