sleeping or unconscious person, or a person with poor blood circulation

7. Burns can occur regardless of control setting; check skin under pad frequently.
8. Never use pad without removable cover in place.
9. Do not use in areas where oxygen is being administered.
10. Do not use pins or other metallic means to fasten this pad in place.
11. Do not sit on or crush pad – avoid sharp folds.
12. Never pull this pad by the supply cord.
13. Do not use the cord as a handle.
14. Carefully examine inner cover and line cord before each use. Discard the
pad if inner covering or line cord show any sign of deterioration.
15. Do not tamper with this pad in any way. There are no user serviceable
parts. If, for any reason, this pad does not function satisfactorily, return to
authorized service center at address given.
16. Do not use this pad with liniment, salve or ointment preparations that
contain heat-producing ingredients, as skin burns could result. Use
wherever hot applications are desirable for personal comfort and wherever
recommended by your physician or dentist for the relief of pain.
17. Loop cord loosely when storing; tight wrapping may damage cord and
internal parts.
18. Keep the pad away from heated surfaces.
19. Place pad on top and not under the part of the body needing heat.
20. Do not put this pad in the microwave.
21. Do not leave pad unattended, especially if children are present.
22. Do not use pads underneath bedcovers and other types of blankets.
Do not place covers, such as sheets and blankets, above pads. Only the
cloth cover provided with the pad should be used.
23. Do not use pad on sensitive skin or when taking medication that can cause
sensitive skin.

Cautions:
• The cloth cover must always be used with the heating pad. An absorbent
cloth is provided for moist heat application.
• This heating pad should not be used in the following cases: If you have
diabetes, tuberculosis, benign or malignant tumors, phlebitis and thrombosis,
hemorrhages, inflammation of the skin, undetermined calf pain or joint pain,
or if you have poor circulation. Consult a physician before using if you have
any kind of fungal infection, swelling, fracture or persistent pain.
• Consult your physician should you have any therapeutic questions
regarding use of this heating pad.
• Do not use on any unexplained pain, or swollen muscles, or following a
serious muscular injury before consulting your physician.
• Keep away from children.
• Discontinue use of product if pain increases or swelling occurs
after application.
• Do not use while bathing or showering. Use only in a dry area.
• Consult your doctor before using in case of illness or medical condition,
including but not limited to pacemaker use, pregnancy or cancer.
• If you experience pain in a muscle or joint for a prolonged period of time,
discontinue use and consult your doctor. Persistent pain could be a symptom
of a more serious condition.
• Never use any heating products on open wounds, discolored areas, or any
area of the body that is swollen, burned, bruised, inflamed or where skin
eruptions, ulcerated sores or varicose veins are present.
• This product should never be used by any individual suffering from any
ailments that would limit or altogether inhibit the user’s capacity to feel or
have any sensation in the body part that this product is being used for.
• Use of this product should be pleasant and comfortable. Should pain or
discomfort result, discontinue use and consult your physician.
• Ensure that your hands are dry when operating the controls or removing
the plug.
HOW TO ASSEMBLE
To assemble the heating pad, insert the heating pad completely into the cloth cover
with the electric cord extending out from the cloth cover (Figure 4). If moist heat is
desired, follow instructions in the Moist Heat Treatment section.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
DRY HEAT TREATMENT
This heating pad comes assembled (Figure 4).
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a
safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. This heating pad is intended
for household use only and it is designed to operate at 110-125 Volts AC. Use on
Alternating Current (60 Hertz) only.
1. Plug the electrical cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
2. Push the ON/OFF button. The power indicator light will illuminate to signal that the
heating pad is at Low setting. Press repeatedly the SETTINGS button to choose
among Low, Medium and High levels.
3. Place heating pad on top of the area to be treated.
4. When treatment is done, press the ON/OFF button to turn unit off and unplug. For
maximum benefit, use should not exceed 30 minutes at one time. this unit Note:
has a 60-minute auto-off feature.
5. Do not use or store heating pad in a folded position.
Use and store lying flat. Burns can occur regardless
of control setting; check skin under pad frequently.

fractura o dolor persistente.
• Pida consejo a su médico si tiene alguna pregunta médica relativa al uso de este
producto.
• Pida consejo a su médico antes de usar este producto si sufre de dolores
inexplicables, si tiene músculos hinchados o después de una herida muscular grave.
• Manténgalo fuera del alcance de los niños.
• Deje de usar este producto si siente dolor o hinchazón durante o después del uso.
• No lo use en el baño o la ducha; úselo solamente en un lugar seco.

ENSAMBLAJE
Meta la almohadilla en la funda de tela, hasta el fondo, dejando que el cable
salga de la funda (Fig. 4). Si desea usar calor húmedo, siga las instrucciones de la
sección “Tratamiento con calor húmedo”.
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
TRATAMIENTO CON CALOR SECO
Esta almohadilla térmica viene completamente ensamblada (Fig. 4)
El cable de este aparato cuenta con un enchufe polarizado (una pata es más ancha que
la otra). Como medida de seguridad, se podrá enchufar de una sola manera en la toma
de corriente polarizada. Si no entra en la toma de corriente, inviértalo. Si aun así no entra
completamente, comuníquese con un electricista. No intente modificar esta función de
seguridad. Este producto es para uso doméstico solamente y p1-ha sido diseñado para
funcionar con corriente de 110–125 V AC Úselo solamente con corriente alterna (60 Hz).
1. Enchufe el aparato en una toma de corriente de 120 V AC.
2. Presione el botón ON/OFF; el indicador luminoso se encenderá para indicar que
la almohadilla se está calentando. Presione repetidamente el botón SETTING para
elegir la temperatura deseada: baja (“LO”),media (MED) o alta (“HIGH”).
3. Coloque la almohadilla sobre el área que desea tratar.
4. Después de terminar, presione el botón ON/OFF para apagar y desenchufe el aparato.

1. Ensure heating pad is unplugged.
2. Wet the absorbent cloth and squeeze out excess water.
3. Insert the damp cloth between the heating pad and the cloth cover.
4. Plug the electrical cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
5. Push the ON/OFF button, the power indicator light will illuminate to signal that
the heating pad is at Low setting. Press the settings buttons to choose among
Low, Medium and High levels.
6. Place heating pad on top of the area to be treated.
7. When treatment is done, press the ON/OFF button to turn unit off and unplug.

Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your unit free of charge for
36 months from the date of purchase if the appliance is defective in
workmanship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the defective product
to the service center listed together with your purchase receipt.
California residents need only provide proof of purchase and should
call 1-800-3-CONAIR for shipping instructions. In the absence of a
purchase receipt, the warranty period shall be 36 months from the date of
manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR LIABILITIES,
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 36 MONTH DURATION
