INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is intended for household use
only. Use on Alternating Current (50/60 hertz)
only. Standard dryers are designed to operate at
110 to 125 volts AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug
will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
IMPORTANT
1875 WATT OPERATING GUIDE
Use of this dryer on the same circuit or fuse with
other electrical products or appliances may trip a
15 amp circuit breaker or blow a 15 amp fuse.
NEVER replace the fuse with one rated higher
than the capacity of the circuit. Doing so
could result in an electrical fire.
WHAT TO DO IF HAIR DRYER
ACCIDENTALLY FALLS IN WATER
PLEASE NOTE:
1. Be sure to unplug the hair dryer.
2. Remove from water. Once the appliance is
removed from water, it should be returned to a
Conair service center.
REMEMBER: Do not use the hair dryer after it
has fallen in the water until it has been serviced.
SETTING UP AND USE OF YOUR

BONNET DRYER
TO OPEN:
Facing the front of the dryer, release the front hood
latch by bending the latch slightly toward you and
lifting the hood upward by the handle.
Move hood forward from under the rear latch and
continue to lift the hood up and forward until it
snaps into place under the hood lock. Tilt the hood
and stem back and lift to adjust height. Allow the
hood to tilt forward to maintain height adjustment.
Adjust the position of the chair with the height of
the dryer.
Be sure the power switch is in the OFF position
(center position). Plug cord into a 120 volt electrical
outlet. Switch to either High or Low setting.

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR
1875 WATT PRO STYLE
BONNET DRYER
TEMPERATURE SETTINGS:
The high heat and high speed setting is rated at
1875 watts and is useful for drying very wet hair.
The low heat and low speed setting is a gentle
setting. The High setting can be switched to Low
as your hair dries. The Low setting is also good for
safely drying natural and synthetic hairpieces.
In addition to high and low heat and fan speeds,
there is an airflow adjustment at the top of the hood.
Rotating the handle to left or right opens or closes
vents that affect the distribution of airflow inside the
hood. Adjust the vents so that there is more or less
air on the top, front or back of the head, as your
hairstyle requires.
TO CLOSE:
Turn switch to OFF. Unplug cord and store in cord
storage well in the hair dryer base. Push the hood
lock downward to release the hood. Push and lower
the hood and arm down and back until the lip of the
hood stops under the rear latch. When the rear latch
is engaged, snap the front lip of the hood down
under the front latch. Be sure the hood is engaged
under both latches before lifting the hair dryer by
the handle.

Para uso doméstico solamente. Utilícelo solamente

polarizado (una pata es más ancha que la otra). Como

asa hacia la izquierda o la derecha para abrir o cerrar
la rejilla de ventilación, aumentando o reduciendo el
flujo de aire. Ajuste la rejilla para dirigir el aire hacia la
parte deseada de la cabeza, según su necesidad.
PARA CERRAR:
Apague (“OFF”) el aparato. Desenchufe el cable y
guárdelo en el espacio en la base del aparato. Presione
el botón de bloqueo hacia abajo para soltar el casco.
Empuje el casco y el brazo hacia abajo y atrás, hasta
que el casco encaje debajo del cerrojo trasero.
Entonces, introduzca la parte delantera del casco
debajo del cerrojo delantero. Asegúrese de que ambos
cerrojos están debidamente engranados antes de
levantar el secador por el asa.

USER MAINTENANCE
Your dryer is virtually maintenance free. No lubri-
cation is needed. For proper operating perfor-
mance, the dryer must be kept clean. When
cleaning is needed, unplug the cord, and clean
dust and lint from air intake openings with a small
brush or the brush attachment of a vacuum clean-
er. The outer surface of the dryer should be wiped
clean with a damp cloth only.
Blocked or clogged air intake vents will cause
the dryer to overheat.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to be pulled,
twisted, or severely bent. Never wrap the cord
tightly around the dryer. Damage will occur at the
high flex point of entry into the dryer, causing it to
rupture and short. Inspect the cord frequently for
damage. Stop use immediately if damage is
visible or unit stops or operates intermittently.
If the cord or dryer is damaged or does not oper-
ate properly, return it for repair to an authorized
Conair service representative only. No repairs
should be attempted by the consumer.
STORAGE – Important
When not in use, your dryer should be disconnect-
ed and stored in a safe, dry location, out of reach
of children. Do not wrap line cord around dryer.
LIMITED ONE-YEAR WARRANTY
(U.S. AND CANADA ONLY)
Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your unit free of
charge for 12 months from the date of purchase if the appli-
ance is defective in workmanship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the
defective product to the service center listed on
back, together with your purchase receipt.
California residents need only provide proof of
purchase and should call 1-800-3-CONAIR for
shipping instructions. In the absence of a pur-
chase receipt, the warranty period shall be 12
months from the date of manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR
LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE
IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS

MANTENIMIENTO
Su secador requiere poco mantenimiento. No
necesita lubricación. Para que funcione
correctamente, debe mantenerlo limpio. Cuando
sea necesario limpiarlo, desconéctelo, permita que
se enfríe y quite el polvo y las pelusas de las
aberturas de aire con un cepillo pequeño o el
cepillo accesorio de una aspiradora. La superficie
exterior del secador solo se debe limpiar con un
paño limpio.
El secador se recalentará si las aberturas de
aire están obstruidas o tapadas.
