OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place hairsetter on a flat surface and plug into
outlet. Press switch to the ON position. Ready
signal will turn transparent white when rollers are
ready to use. This appliance has a polarized plug
(one blade is wider than the other). As a safety
feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet
only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into
the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to
defeat this safety feature.
2. Allow rollers to heat with lid closed, as this will
provide the fastest, most efficient heat-up. One
roller has a “ready dot” on top. The ready dot
will turn from red to transparent white, indicating
optimum curling temperature has been
reached. Once the rollers are hot, you can begin
setting your hair. Allow rollers to heat longer for
tighter curls. Never leave your hairsetter on and
unattended. Always unplug the hairsetter when
not in use. Allow hairsetter to cool, and store in
a safe place.
3. Hair should be clean and dry or slightly damp
— — never wet when setting. Hair will not set
correctly if too damp.
Note: Do not use this on hair extensions.

MAINTENANCE
Your hairsetter is designed for household use
and is virtually maintenance free. This product
represents the highest standards of workmanship
and engineering. If cleaning becomes necessary,
disconnect the appliance from the power source.
Allow to cool, and wipe unit with a damp cloth.
Occasionally, you may want to clean your rollers.
To do so, use a damp cloth and mild detergent
or soap. If abnormal conditions occur, unplug
the hairsetter, allow it to cool, and return it to an
authorized service representative for repair.
STORAGE
Allow hairsetter to cool. Handle cord carefully for
longer life; avoid jerking or straining at plug con-
nections. Place hairsetter out of reach of children
in a safe, dry location.
To use all roller sizes for full, bouncy curls
Place large rollers at the crown for a lift. Place
medium-size rollers on the sides and back and
place smaller rollers at the nape of the neck.
Or, randomly space medium and small rollers
around the sides, back and nape of the neck
for varying curl sizes.*

*The size of the curl will depend on the length of your
hair, the size of the hair section, and the size of the roller.
The smaller the section and roller, the tighter the curl, the
bigger the section and roller, the looser the curl.
HOW TO CURL YOUR HAIR
1. Place ends of hair in teeth of starter strip and
wind toward scalp. Roll hair firmly and secure
roller with a clip by crossing clip over roller.
2. The firmness of the curl is determined by
several factors: heat-up time, diameter of roller,
and length of time roller is left in the hair. For
tight, firm curls, use small- and/or medium-
size rollers. For longer-lasting curls, the rollers
should be allowed to heat up longer and left
in the hair for a longer period of time before
removing.
3. It’s easy to create different looks with Curls &
Waves rollers. If you want looser waves, use
the large rolles at the crown of your head,
medium in the middle and small on the bot-
tom. For tighter, more defined curls, start with
smaller rollers on top, medium in the middle
and large on the bottom. Keep in mind that
rolling larger sections of hair creates looser
curls, and rolling smaller sections of hair cre-
ates tighter curls.
4. To remove rollers, hold roller in one hand
and remove clip with the other hand. Gently
release roller (DO NOT PULL), and let curl
bounce back once roller has been removed
from hair. Let cool for one minute for a good
set, then style your hair as desired.

DE USO

1. Coloque el aparato en una superficie plana y
enchúfelo en una toma de corriente. Ponga el
interruptor en la posición de encendido “ON”.
Una vez listos los rulos, el indicador térmico
se pondrá translúcido. El cable de este aparato
cuenta con un enchufe polarizado (una pata
es más ancha que la otra). Como medida de
seguridad, se podrá enchufar de una sola manera
en la toma de corriente polarizada. Si el enchufe
no entra en la toma de corriente, inviértalo. Si
aun así no entra completamente, comuníquese
con un electricista. No intente modificar esta
función de seguridad.
2. Mantenga la tapa cerrada hasta que los rulos
estén calientes; esto logrará un calentamiento
más rápido y efectivo. Uno de los rulos tiene
un indicador térmico rojo. El indicador térmico
se pondrá blanco translúcido cuando los rulos
lleguen a la temperatura óptima para rizar el
cabello. Empiece a marcar el cabello cuando los
rulos lleguen a la temperatura adecuada. Para
obtener rizos apretados, deje que los rulos se
calienten por más tiempo. Nunca descuide/deje
el aparato sin vigilancia después de encenderlo.
Siempre desenchufe el aparato después del
uso. Después del uso, permita que el aparato se
enfríe y guárdelo en un lugar seguro.
3. El cabello debe estar limpio y seco, o ligeramente
húmedo; nunca use los rulos en el cabello
mojado. Si el cabello está demasiado húmedo,
no conseguirá buenos resultados.
Nota: No use este producto en cabello sintético/
extensiones.

MANTENIMIENTO
Este aparato p2-ha sido diseñado para uso doméstico
y requiere poco mantenimiento. Representa los
más altos estándares de calidad e ingeniería.
Cuando sea necesario limpiarlo, desenchúfelo,
permita que se enfríe y limpie la carcasa con
un paño húmedo. De vez en cuando, limpie los
rulos usando un paño húmedo y detergente o
jabón suaves. En caso de mal funcionamiento,
desenchufe el aparato, permita que se enfríe
y devuélvalo a un centro de servicio autorizado
para su reparación.
ALMACENAMIENTO
Permita que el aparato se enfríe. Manipule el
cable con cuidado para prolongar su vida útil; no
lo tironee ni lo retuerza, especialmente al nivel
del enchufe. Guarde el aparato en un lugar seco
y seguro, fuera del alcance de los niños.
Para conseguir rizos voluminosos y elásticos
Coloque rulos grandes arriba de la cabeza para
levantar la raíz. Coloque rulos medianos en los
costados y en la parte de atrás de la cabeza,
y coloque rulos pequeños en la nuca. O bien,
coloque aleatoriamente rulos medianos y peque-
ños en los costados, la parte de atrás de la cabeza
y la nuca para variar el tamaño de los rizos.*

*El tamaño de los rizos dependerá de la longitud del
cabello, del tamaño de la sección de cabello y del
tamaño del rulo. Cuanto más pequeños sean la sección
de cabello y el rulo, más apretados serán los rizos.
Cuanto más grandes sean la sección de cabello y el rulo,
más suaves serán los rizos.
CÓMO MARCAR EL CABELLO
1. Coloque las puntas en los “dientes” de la
superficie de enrollado, y enrolle el rulo hacia el
cuero cabelludo. Enrolle el cabello firmemente, y
luego sujete el rulo con un clip puesto alrededor
del mismo.
2. La textura de los rizos dependerá del diámetro
de los rulos, de su temperatura y del tiempo
que permanezcan en el cabello. Para conseguir
rizos apretados y firmes, use rulos pequeños y/o
medianos. Para conseguir rizos más duraderos,
permita que los rulos se calienten por más
tiempo y déjelos en el cabello por más tiempo.
3. Es fácil crear una variedad de peinados con este
set de rulos calientes. Para crear ondas más
suaves, use rulos medianos arriba de la cabeza,
rulos medianos en el medio y rulos pequeños
abajo. Para crear rizos más definidos, use rulos
pequeños arriba de la cabeza, rulos medianos
en el medio y rulos grandes abajo. Tenga
presente que enrollar secciones más gruesas
produce rizos más sueltos y enrollar secciones
más delgadas produce rizos más apretados.
4. Para quitar los rulos, sostenga el rulo con
una mano y retire el clip con la otra. Deslice
suavemente el rulo (NO LO JALE) y permita que
el cabello rebote libremente. Permita que el
cabello se enfríe por un minuto antes de peinarlo
para “fijar” los rizos.
