OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is intended for household use.
Use on Alternating Current (60 hertz) only.
Standard appliances are designed to operate at
120 volts AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this
plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If
the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety
feature.
NOTE: Do not use this styling appliance on
hair extensions.
GETTING STARTED
Plug the styler cord into a standard household
electrical outlet (120V). When the red Ready
dot turns white, proper styling temperature has
been reached. The SupremeÂŽ styling irons have
10 heat settings suitable for different hair types.
If you have ne hair, a low temperature will
provide the best results. If you have thick, wavy
or hard-to-curl hair, keep the heat setting on
high. You can vary the iron’s temperature
according to your particular need!

GET TO KNOW YOUR
STYLING IRONS TO STYLE HAIR
Hair should be clean and completely dry before
using the curling iron. Section dry hair evenly,
and comb each section before winding. For best
results, use a light styling product before blow-
drying.
USING THE CURLING IRON
1. Start curling with a hair section that is 1 inch
wide and no more than ½ inch thick. Open the
spoon and place curling iron midway up the
hair section, then spread hair evenly between
spoon and barrel. Gently slide the curling iron
down to hair ends. To avoid crimped ends,
make sure they are securely wound under
the spoon in the direction of the desired curl.
Remember, always place the spoon above the
hair strand when making a curl you want rolled
under; place the spoon under the hair strand
when creating a flip style.
2. Wind the hair up as far as you want it curled,
being careful not to let the iron touch the scalp.
Hold in place for 8 to 12 seconds, depending on
the texture and length of your hair. For tighter,
bouncier curls, roll less hair. For looser,
free-flowing curls, roll more hair.
3. To remove curling iron, unwind the hair and
press spoon to release. To set the curl, do not
comb or brush curls until cool.
4. Some experimenting is necessary when first
using the curling iron, or when changing to a
different hairstyle.
To create soft, tousled waves, curl each hair
section in random directions. Then, turn head
upside down, shake, and gently scrunch hair
with fingers. Bring head back to position and
repeat for more volume.
For wide waves, pick up a section of hair and
place the curling iron under it, close to the scalp,
making half a turn downward. Remove the
curling iron. Working with the same hair section,
start where you left off and place the curling
iron on top of the hair, curling it up half a turn.
Proceed down the same hair section, alternating
the curl upward and downward. Repeat process
with remaining sections of hair. For best results,
hair should be about 6–8 inches long.
USING THE STYLING BRUSH
1. Use of the hot brush is very easy to master.
Roll one small section of hair at a time around
the hot brush starting from the bottom up. TO
AVOID TANGLING, NEVER ROLL THE HAIR
AROUND THE HOT BRUSH MORE THAN TWO
TIMES. When hair is warm (not hot) to the touch,
the curl is set. For hair that is harder to curl,
leave the hot brush in place a little longer. A hot
brush generally gives a lighter curl than a curling
iron – for very hard-to-curl hair, try switching to
your curling iron.
2. The hot brush can be used for quick touch-
ups without shampooing. After heating the
hot brush, simply brush the hair back to its
original style.
To relax natural waves, pull a small section of
hair taut, then pass the brush over hair from
roots to ends. Repeat process until natural
waves are relaxed.
For flowing waves, separate a wider section of
hair than you normally do for curling, and roll it
as you usually do. For best results, hair should
be at least 6–8 inches long.
For blunt cuts, use the hot brush to eliminate
kinks or unwanted flips by just turning the
hair under.

Para uso domĂŠstico solamente. UtilĂ­celo
solamente con corriente alterna (60 Hz). Los

funcionar con corriente de 120 V AC.
El cable de este aparato estĂĄ dotado de un
enchufe polarizado (una pata es mĂĄs ancha
que la otra). Como medida de seguridad, se
podrĂĄ enchufar de una sola manera en la
toma de corriente polarizada. Si no entra en
la toma de corriente, inviĂŠrtala. Si aun asĂ­ no
entra completamente, comunĂ­quese con un
electricista. No intente ir en contra de esta
funciĂłn de seguridad.
NOTA: no utilice este aparato en cabello
sintĂŠtico/extensiones.
FUNCIONAMIENTO BÁSICO
Enchufe el cable en una toma de corriente
estĂĄndar (120 V). Permita que se caliente hasta
que el indicador de temperatura rojo se vuelva
blanco. Las tenazas SupremeÂŽ cuentan con
10 ajustes de temperatura, para todo tipo
de cabello. Si su cabello es fino/delgado, le
recomendamos que utilice temperatura baja.
Si su cabello es espeso, grueso, ondulado o
resistente, le recomendamos que utilice el nivel
de temperatura alto. ÂĄPersonalice la temperatura
segĂşn su tipo de cabello!

FAMILIARÍCESE CON SU
TENAZA Y SU CEPILLO CALIENTE FUNDAMENTOS DEL PEINADO
El cabello debe estar limpio y seco. Divida el
cabello seco en secciones uniformes y peine
cada secciĂłn. Para obtener resultados Ăłptimos,
aplique una lociĂłn fijadora ligera en el cabello
antes de secarlo.
CÓMO USAR LA TENAZA
1. Divida el cabello en secciones de 1 pulgada
(2.5 cm) de ancho por ½ pulgada (1.5 cm) o
menos de grueso. Abra la tenaza, presionando
la manija. Coloque el aparato a la mitad de
una secciĂłn de cabello y distribuya el cabello
uniformemente entre el tubo y la pinza. Deslice
el aparato suavemente hacia las puntas. Para
evitar tener las puntas encrespadas, asegĂşrese
de que estĂĄn firmemente posicionadas entre
el tubo y la pinza, en la direcciĂłn deseada.
Consejo: para rizar hacia dentro, coloque la
secciĂłn de cabello por encima de la pinza. Para
rizar hacia fuera, coloque la secciĂłn de cabello
debajo de la pinza.
2. Enrolle el cabello hacia el cuero cabelludo,

manija para soltarlo. Permita que el cabello se
enfríe antes de peinarlo para “fijar” los rizos.
4. SerĂĄ necesario experimentar un poco
al principio.
Para crear ondas suaves y naturales, rice cada
secciĂłn en diferentes direcciones. DespuĂŠs,
incline la cabeza hacia abajo, agĂ­tela y estruje
el cabello con los dedos. Repita para obtener
mĂĄs cuerpo.
Para ondas sueltas, comience cerca del cuero
cabelludo. Coloque una secciĂłn de cabello
entre el tubo y la pinza, con el tubo abajo, y
dele media vuelta hacia abajo. Retire el aparato.

MAINTENANCE
Your styling iron is virtually maintenance free.
No lubrication is needed. Keep all vents and
openings clear of dirt and dust. If cleaning
becomes necessary, disconnect the styling iron
from the power source, allow it to cool and wipe
exterior with a cloth. If any abnormal condition
occurs, unplug the styling iron, allow it to cool,
and return it for repair to an authorized service
center only. No repairs should be attempted by
the consumer.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to be pulled
or twisted. Never wrap the cord around the
styling iron. Damage will occur at the high flex
point of entry into the styling iron, causing it
to rupture and short circuit. Inspect the cord
frequently for damage. Stop use immediately
if damage is visible or if unit stops or operates
intermittently.
STORAGE
When not in use, your appliance should be
disconnected, allowed to cool and stored in
a safe, dry location, out of reach of children.
Do not jerk or strain cord at plug connections.
Do not wrap the line cord around the appliance.

COMO USAR EL CEPILLO
CALIENTE
