Thank you for choosing a Comfort ZoneĀ® humidiļ¬er. To ensure the best performance from your
product, please read and save the following instructions.
WHEN USING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES, BASIC PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE
FOLLOWED TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK AND INJURY TO ANY PERSON,
INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:
ā€¢ This humidiļ¬er is for indoor use only. Do not use in wet or damp locations such as bathrooms,
laundry areas or other similar indoor locations. Never locate humidiļ¬er where it may fall into a
bathtub or other water container.
ā€¢ Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat and cause risk of
ļ¬re. However, if you must use an extension cord, the cord shall be No.14AWG minimum size and
rated not less than 1875 watts.
ā€¢ Do not run the cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners or the like.
Arrange cord away from a trafļ¬c area so it will not be tripped over.
ā€¢ Do not use this product if parts are missing. Do not use this unit if the power cord shows signs of
damage or wear or if the unit has been dropped or misused.
ā€¢ Use this unit on a ļ¬‚at, level surface only. If unit is placed on a non-level surface, this unit may not
function properly or water may overļ¬‚ow from the water ļ¬‚ume.
ā€¢ Place this humidiļ¬er on a water-resistant surface.
ā€¢ Be sure to turn off and unplug this unit when not in use.
ā€¢ Never tip or move this appliance while it is operating or while water is in the base or tank.
ā€¢ This humidiļ¬er is not to be serviced or repaired by anyone except the manufacturer or service/
repair facilities authorized by the manufacturer. Never disassemble your humidiļ¬er. Doing so will
void your warranty and possibly allow water it get into sealed parts.
ā€¢ Do not use this humidiļ¬er with timers, programmers or any other automatically controlled devices.
ā€¢ Use this humidiļ¬er in the manner described in this operations manual only. Not following this
manual may cause damage to the humidiļ¬er, may create a ļ¬re hazard, electrical shock, or injury to
persons or property.
ā€¢ Do not place this humidiļ¬er near furnaces, heaters, stoves, or any other source of heat.
ā€¢ Position this humidiļ¬er out of the reach of children and pets.
ā€¢ This humidiļ¬er requires periodic maintenance. Refer to those instructions in this manual.
ā€¢ DO NOT use anything other than water in this appliance. Do not use additives.
ā€¢ Never block the mist outlet.
ā€¢ Do not cover any part of this humidiļ¬er. Do not insert any object into any area of this humidiļ¬er.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
SET-UP
Put the humidiļ¬er on a ļ¬‚at surface and take the water tank out. Open the water tank cover and
ļ¬ll with cool water. Close the cover and put the tank back into the humidiļ¬er. For best results use
distilled or ļ¬ltered water. Do not use hot water or additives. Put the nozzle and top cover into the
socket on top of the water tank.
The humidiļ¬er comes equipped with a power adapter that is required to supply power to the
humidiļ¬er when in use. Plug the rounded end of the adapter into the adapter port located in the back
of the humidiļ¬er. Plug adapter's two-pin power plug into a 120V AC wall outlet.
OPERATING THE HUMIDIFIER
1. The best working environment for the humidiļ¬er is between the temperatures of 68Ā°F (20Ā°C) and
104Ā°F (40Ā°C) and relative humidity is lower than 80%.
2. Use the touch button to operate the humidiļ¬er. Touch the button the ļ¬rst time for ON and LOW
intensity. Touch a second time for MEDIUM intensity. Touch a third time to turn the humidifer OFF.
Once the water in the basin is low, the machine will automatically alarm for 3 seconds and then
stop working.
CAUTION: If you start feeling light-headed, nauseous, or any kind of discomfort, stop operating the
humidiļ¬er immediately and consult with a healthcare professional.
