KM28 THERMOMETER

1. GETTING STARTED

Attach the probe to the instrument. Note that the

connector is polarised with a “thin” pin and a “wide”

pin, care needs to be taken to insert the probe the

correct way.

To turn the instrument on/off press and release the

on/off button on the left of the case.

2. AUTO OFF FEATURE

If you do not turn the instrument off manually it will

switch off automatically after approximately 5/6

minutes.

3. SCALE SELECTION

Press the right hand button to change from °F to °C or

vice versa. The scale is displayed in the top right hand

of the window and is retained when switched off.

4. REPLACING THE BATTERY

Remove the battery cover by unscrewing the screw

on the rear of the unit. Do this away from the food

preparation area, taking care not to lose the screw.

The KM28 uses any standard 9 volt size battery and

these are readily available. Alkaline versions are

recommended for longest life.

Fit the battery and replace the cover. Take care not to

overtighten the screw or to leave too loose.
