Safety
• The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Always unplug the device after using it in a bathroom. The hairdryer may
present a fatal hazard if it comes in contact with water, even when turned off
with the power switch.
• Extra protection may be achieved by installing a residual-current device with
a current rating of 30mA. Consult a professional if you are uncertain.
• Do not expose the hairdryer to dampness, blows, and bumps. Never use the
hairdryer in things such as the bathtub or next to a shower or kitchen counter.
• Always turn off the hairdryer when you put it down.
• Keep the hairdryer out of the reach of children.
• Never block the louver. The hairdryer may overheat.
• Always unplug the hairdryer before cleaning it. Regularly wipe it with a lightly
dampened soft cloth.
• Do not use the hairdryer if the electric cord or the plug is damaged. Also do not
use it if you have dropped in on the oor or into water.
• The hairdryer may not be modied or disassembled. Also do not open the
housing. Hazardous electric currents are present in an unprotected form in
some components inside the housing of the product, and physical contact with
these may result in electric chock.
• Do not pull the electric cord or carry the hairdryer by its electric cord. Do not use
the cord as a handle and do not close a door on it. Also do not pull it around
sharp corners or edges.
• The hairdryer may only be repaired by qualied service employees.
