Warning: Hot surfaces
This product gets hot during use. Please note that surfaces
which are not used for cooking will become very hot. Since
some people are more sensitive to temperature than others,
theproduct should be handled with CAUTION. Only touch
thehandle or other gripping surfaces and always wear
heatproof gloves or mitts. Always let all other surfaces cool
before touching them.
• Theproduct may be used by children aged 8 years and above
and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capability or lack of experience and knowledge provided they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
theproduct in asafe way and understand thehazards involved.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
• Keep theproduct and its mains lead out of reach of children
under theage of 8.
• Never leave theproduct unattended while in use.
• Never use theproduct in conjunction with atimer or other timer-
controlled equipment.
• Make sure that your hands are completely dry when
unplugging theproduct from thewall socket.

• Only operate theproduct in well-ventilated areas. Leave agap
of 10–15 cm (4–6 ) on every side of product for air to circulate ʺ
freely.
• Theproduct must only be use when placed on afirm, flat and
heat-resistant surface.
• Never place theproduct onto aheater or other heat source.
• Never place theproduct onto ahot cooker or into anoven.
• Make sure that theproduct is not in contact with curtains,
clothing, towels or other combustible material when it is in use.
• Never move theproduct until it has completely cooled.
• Never place metal objects such as cutlery or saucepan lids
onto thegrill plates. Doing so could cause theobject to get hot.
• Theproduct is intended for indoor use only.
• Place theproduct where there is no risk of people tripping
over its mains lead.
• Do not place theproduct where there is arisk of it falling into
water or other type of liquid. If theproduct has fallen into
water, . Unplug theproduct from theelectrical do not touch it

• Never use charcoal, briquettes or other combustible materials
together with theproduct.
• Only use accessories that are recommended by
themanufacturer or retailer.
• Never lay themains lead over hot surfaces, sharp edges or corners.

theproduct if themains lead or plug is damaged. Never use
theproduct if it is defective or damaged in any way, has been
dropped or if any water or other liquid has entered thehousing.
• If it is necessary to use anextension lead with theproduct,
ensure that thecable is suitable for thepurpose.
• Do not use theproduct to cook frozen food. All food must be
thawed before cooking it on thegrill.
