Safety

• The product may be used by children and by persons with

reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of

experience and knowledge provided they have been given

• Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by children

but only under adult supervision.

• Never immerse thescale inwater.

• Never subject thescale to high temperature, dust,

heavyvibration, impacts, humidity or moisture.

Operating instructions

1. Open thebattery cover on thebottom of thescale. Ifthere

is any insulation film on thebattery terminals, remove it.

Theinsulating film is used to maintain battery capacity

during transport and storage.

2. Press [ UNIT ] to select theunit of measurement.

3. Carefully, mount thescale, standing with your feet next to

each other. Standstill and upright. Afterafew seconds,

your weight will be displayed.

4. The scale will turn off automatically after 10 seconds of

noactivity.

If themeasuring capacity of thescale is exceeded, “Err” will

appear on thedisplay.

For reliable and accurate results:

• Place thescale on afirm and level surface, never on amat

or uneven surface.

• Weigh yourself barefoot, making sure that both your feet

and thescale are completely dry.

Care and maintenance

• Clean thescale by wiping it with adamp cloth. Onlyuse

mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.

• The scale should be regarded as aprecision instrument

and handled with care. Avoidrough treatment, shaking

andvibration.

• Remove thebatteries if theproduct is not to be used for

alongtime.

Changing the battery

• “Lo” will appear on thedisplay when thebatteries need

changing. Changeall thebatteries at thesame time,

do not mix old and new, or rechargeable with non-

rechargeable batteries.

• Insert 4×AAA/LR03 batteries. Notethepolarity markings

in thebattery compartment to ensure correct insertion.
