Please read theîentire instruction manual before using theîproduct and then save
it for future reference. We reserve theîright for any errors in text or images and any
necessary changes made to technical data. In theîevent of technical problems or other
queries, please contact our Customer Services (see address details on theîback).
Warning: Theîengine has no oil in it. Oil needs to be added before theîengine is started.
Safety
⢠Wear protective footwear, tight-ďŹtting clothes and safety glasses/visor, ear defenders
and aîhelmet.
⢠Never use theîproduct when you are tired, sick, under theîinďŹuence of alcohol or medicine.
⢠Always be careful when handling fuel. Open theîfuel tank carefully and release any
pressure which might have built up in theîtank. Wipe off any spilt fuel and move
theîproduct at least 3 metres away from theîrefuelling location before starting it.
⢠Remove any sources of ignition, sparks, naked ďŹames, lit cigarettes, etc. from
theîarea where theîfuel is mixed, used or stored.
⢠Never smoke while refuelling or using theîproduct.
⢠Do not permit anyone other than theîoperator to come close to theîproduct when
it is being started or used. Children, pets and bystanders should keep aîdistance
of at least 15 metres away from theîproduct when it is being used.
⢠Always hold both handles of theîproduct ďŹrmly with your ďŹngers on one side of
theîhandle and thumb on theîother side, once theîengine is running.
⢠Keep all body parts away from theîtrimmer line or brush cutter blade when
theîengine is running.
⢠Make sure that theîtrimmer line or cutter blade is not in contact with any object
before starting.
⢠Only transport theîproduct with theîengine switched off.
⢠Always inspect theîproduct before starting, do not start it if there are worn,
damaged or missing parts. Never use theîproduct if it is damaged, incorrectly
adjusted or incorrectly assembled.
⢠All service of theîproduct other than that mentioned in this instruction manual should
be carried out by qualiďŹed personnel and only using original spare parts.
⢠Switch theîproduct off before laying it on theîground.
⢠Be extra vigilant when cutting small bushes or thick grass. They can become stuck
in theîtrimmer head.
⢠Keep theîhandles clean, dry and free from oil or fuel.
