Safety
⢠Incorrect handling of this machine could result in personal injury.
⢠Always disconnect theîmachine from theîmains when it is not in use, during
assembly/disassembly or cleaning.
⢠Theîmachine may be used by children aged 8 or over provided they have
been instructed in theîsafe use of theîappliance and that they fully understand
theîhazards or risks involved.
⢠Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by children aged 8 or over, but only
under adult supervision. Ensure that theîmachine and its mains lead are kept out
of theîreach of children under theîage of 8.
⢠Switch theîmachine off and disconnect it from theîmains before changing
accessories or handling any of theîmoving parts.
⢠Theîmachine may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capability, lack of experience or knowledge which could jeopardise their safety,
provided they have been given proper supervision or instruction regarding theîsafe
use of theîproduct and understand any hazards involved.
⢠Never let children play with theîmachine.
⢠Ensure that theîmachine is used with theîcorrect voltage. Refer to theîrating plate.
⢠To prevent electric shocks, theîmachine and its mains lead should be kept dry.
⢠Never lay theîmains lead over hot surfaces, sharp edges or corners.
⢠Always disconnect theîmachine from theîpower supply by holding and pulling
theîplug. Do not pull theîmains lead.
⢠Make sure that all parts are correctly assembled and that theîmachine is switched
off before connecting it to theîpower supply.
⢠Never run theîmachine without any ingredients in theîfreezer bowl.
⢠Never use theîmachine in close proximity to heat sources.
⢠Only use theîsupplied parts and/or accessories.
⢠Only use theîmachine for what it was designed for.
⢠Theîmachine is intended for indoor use only.
⢠Never use sharp objects to pry open theîmachine.
⢠Keep hands, hair, clothing and other loose objects away from theîmachine during
use, as these can become caught and cause injury.
⢠Theîmains lead should be checked regularly. Never use theîproduct if its mains
lead or plug is damaged.
⢠Theîmains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to prevent theîrisk of electric
shock or ďŹre and should only be carried out by theîmanufacturer, authorised
service facility or aîqualiďŹed tradesman.
