Safety
• Please read theentire manual and save it for future use.
• Theproduct may be used by children of 8 years and above and
by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability
or lack of experience and knowledge provided they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of theproduct
in asafe way and understand thehazards involved.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
• Keep theappliance and its cord out of reach of children aged
less than 8 years.
• Children shall not play with theappliance.
• Warning! Do not open thecasing. Certain components within
theproduct’s casing contain dangerous currents. Contact
with these may give you anelectric shock.
• Therice cooker should only be repaired by qualified service
personnel.
• Connect therice cooker only to anearthed socket. Disconnect
themains lead after use. Pull theplug, not thelead.
• Never leave theproduct unsupervised when it is connected to
anelectrical socket.
• Make sure that theheating plate, inner bowl and themagnetic
switch are completely dry and clean before you turn therice
cooker on.

• Do not place therice cooker where it could fall into water or
another type of liquid.
• Turn on therice cooker only if theinner bowl is in place.
• Do not touch theproduct with moist hands.
• Never allow children to use therice cooker without supervision
of anadult. Make sure that thelead does not hang downward
so that children can pull therice cooker over themselves.
• Do not immerse thecasing in water and do not rinse it under
thetap.
• Never use theproduct if theplug, mains lead or other parts
are damaged.
• Do not use therice cooker to defrost frozen food.
• Theinner bowl is only intended to be used in therice cooker.
Never place it directly on asource of heating e.g. heating plate.
• Protect themains lead from hot or sharp objects.
• Theproduct is intended only for use indoors.
• Place theproduct on alevel, heat resistant surface. Make sure
that flammable materials such as curtains, furniture, bedclothes,
paper, fabric or wood are not too close.
• Do not place therice cooker on or close to aheat source
such as anelectric stove, oven or heater.
• Always unplug thelead and let therice cooker cool down
before cleaning.
• Clean therice cooker regularly.
• Thesurface of therice cooker becomes warm when in use.
• Do not use any accessories other than those accompanying
therice cooker.
• Do NOT block thesteam opening with something such as
adish cloth when therice cooker is being used.
• Therice cooker is intended only for use in ahome environment,
not for professional use.
