Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and save it for

Safety
• Place thecoffee maker on adry and stable surface away from children’s reach to
prevent anyone from being scalded.
• The coffee maker should be used only as described in this manual.
• Always disconnect theplug from thewall socket before cleaning or when not inuse.
• Ensure that theproduct is used with thecorrect voltage. Referto theproduct’s
rating plate.
• Never allow thecoffee maker to be on for anextended time. Itis recommended
that you use atimer between theplug of thecoffee maker and wall socket to turn
thecoffee maker off if you should forget.
• Do not pull or carry thecoffee maker by thelead. Donot use thelead as ahandle
or let it fasten in door jambs. Donot pull it around sharp corners and edges or over
warm surfaces, such as warmhobs.
• Never immerse thecoffee maker in water and do not expose it to knocks, blows or
high temperatures.
• Never use thecoffee maker if you have dropped it on thefloor, left it outdoors or
dropped it intowater.
• The mains lead should be checked regularly. Neveruse theproduct if themains
lead or plug is damaged.
• The mains lead must be changed if damaged. Thisis to prevent therisk of electric
shock or fire and should only be carried out by themanufacturer, authorised
service facility or qualified tradesman.
• The coffee maker should only be used and kept indoors.
• The coffee maker is intended for domestic use and similar environments such as in
kitchens, hotels, motels, etc.
• Do not open thehousing. Certain components inside thecasing carry dangerous
electrical current. Contact with these components could result in electric shock.
• The coffee maker should only be repaired by qualified service personnel.
• The coffee maker should not be taken apart or modified.
• The product may be used by children of 8 years and above and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of experience and know-
ledge provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
theproduct in asafe way and understand thehazards involved.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
