Your New Vehicle Limited Warranty requires that you perform
the scheduled maintenance at the time or metrage shown in
your Ownerâs Manual. If you do not do so, and your vehicle
fails as a result of your failure to maintain it properly, repairs
may not be covered under your warranty.
Chrysler recommends that you use this Maintenance Service
Schedule Book to keep a written record of maintenance
performed on your vehicle.

INTRODUCTION
The oil change indicator system will remind you
that it is time to take your vehicle in for scheduled
maintenance. Based on engine operation condi-
tion the oil change indicator message will illumi-
nate, this means that service is required for your
vehicle. Have your vehicle serviced as soon as
possible, within the next 800 km. The oil change
indicator message will not monitor the time since
the last oil change. Change your vehicles oil if it
has been 6 months since your last oil change even
if the oil change indicator message is NOT illu-
minated. Change your engine oil more often if
you drive your vehicle oďŹ-road for an extended
period of time. Under no circumstances should
oil change intervals exceed 10,000 km or
6 months, whichever comes ďŹrst. Your dealer
will reset the oil change indicator message after
completing the scheduled oil change. If this
scheduled oil change is performed by someone
other than your dealer the message can be reset by
referring to the steps described in the Ownerâs
Manual.
The performance of all scheduled service work is
required to maintain your vehicle in good operat-
ing condition. Chrysler Canada Inc. reserves the
right to deny warranty coverage if the vehicle has
not been properly maintained. While we do not
insist that such work be performed by factory
authorized retailers, we strongly recommend that
an authorized Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge Retailert
perform this work.
AT EACH STOP FOR FUEL
â˘Check the engine oil level about 5 minutes
after a fully warmed engine is shut off. Check-
ing the oil level while the vehicle is on level
ground will improve the accuracy of the oil
level reading. Add oil only when the level is at
or below the ADD or MIN mark.
â˘Check the windshield washer solvent and add
if required.
ONCE A MONTH
â˘Check tire pressure and look for unusual wear
or damage.
â˘Inspect the battery and clean and tighten the
terminals as required.
â˘Check the ďŹuid levels of coolant reservoir,
brake master cylinder, power steering and
transmission and add as needed.
â˘Check all lights and other electrical items for
correct operation.
â˘Check and clean wiper blades. Replace if
required.
AT EACH OIL CHANGE
â˘Change the engine oil ďŹlter.
â˘Inspect the brake hoses and lines.
VISUAL INSPECTIONS â
INSPECT FOR SIGNS OF COMPONENT
DETERIORATION AND PHYSICAL DAMAGE.
MAINTENANCE
Scheduled maintenance must be completed to provide the best vehicle
performance and reliability. The limited warranties in the warranty booklet DO NOT COVER
repairs required due to improper maintenance. We strongly suggest you keep track of scheduled
maintenance and keep receipts or other documents. Use only recommended Mopar Lubricantst
and genuine Mopar Parts. In the event that a condition arises between maintenance intervals,t
please contact your retailer. AVOID PROLONGED PERIODS OF IDLING.
NOTE: WHERE TIME (MONTHS) AND METRAGE ARE INDICATED, FOLLOW THE
INTERVAL THAT OCCURS FIRST.
