3. DESCRIPTION
Capitol
®
CPA039 Latex Carpet Pad Adhesive is a solvent-free,
latex-based enviro-friendly carpet pad adhesive developed to quickly
bond carpet pads to suboors in stretch-in carpet installations.
CPA039 provides a permanent bond to porous and non-porous
substrates. VOC: < 1 g/L
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
•Fast setting, it quickly bonds carpet pads to sub oors
•Allows for stretching of carpet without carpet cushion wrinkling
and slippage
•Protected by AMP Guard
®
to inhibit the growth of mold, mildew
and odor-causing bacteria
USES
Carpet padding– rebonded or synthetic and rubber foam. Test
adhesive with carpet pad prior to installation for any pads not listed.
SUBSTRATES
Install over porous and non-porous substrates such as concrete, vinyl
composition tile (free of wax), primed gypcrete, terrazzo, APA
underlayment grade plywood, particleboard and hardboard
LIMITATIONS
•For interior use only
•Always follow pad manufacturer's specic installation
guidelines.
•Ensure adequate ventilation during ooring installation.
•Refer to Safety Data Sheet, www.capitolooringproducts.com,
industry standards, and manufacturer’s guidelines and specic
recommendations prior to installation for additional information.
