Our AR speakers are specialist loudspeakers licensed by Dolby Laborato-

ries and developed for use as a ceiling reflection system in a home cinema

setup with Dolby Atmos® technology. The reflection off the ceiling creates

sound events above the listener, to produce the effect of a three-dimensional

sound. In addition, the AR speakers, mounted on the wall beneath the cei-

ling, can also be used as high quality sound effect speakers (e.g. front high

speakers). In a stereo setup the AR speakers act as direct main speakers and

can be used in connection with a subwoofer as stereo satellites. In this case

the AR speakers are mounted on the wall above ear height with the tweeter

facing down.

Application:

To use the AR speakers as ceiling reflection speakers in a system with Dolby

Atmos® technology, simply position it on your front resp. rear speakers. The

fabric cover must point upwards and the narrow side of the cabinet must

point in the direction of the listener. The optimal sound experience is created

with a ceiling height of between 2.20 and 3.70 metres. For the perfect setup

please refer to the instructions of Dolby Laboratories at www.dolby.de and

read the instructions of your control unit to ensure the correct setup of the

device.

The bracket built into the cabinet makes it easy to mount the AR speakers on

the wall with a single screw. For stable wall installation we recommend that

the equipment feet provided, are mounted on the back of the speaker.

Setup:

Unsere AR Lautsprecher sind von Dolby Laboratories lizensierte Speziallaut-

sprecher, die für den Einsatz als Deckenreflexionssysteme in einem Heimkino

Setup mit Dolby Atmos® Technologie entwickelt wurden. Durch die Reflexi-

on an der Zimmerdecke werden durch sie, Schallereignisse über dem Hörer

abgebildet und es entsteht der Effekt eines dreidimensionalen Klangbildes.

Außerdem können die AR Lautsprecher, unterhalb der Zimmerdecke an der

Wand montiert, auch als hochwertige Effektlautsprecher (z.B. Front-High)

verwendet werden. In einem Stereo-Setup werden die AR Lautsprecher zu

direktstrahlenden Hauptlautsprechern und können, in Verbindung mit einem

Subwoofer, auch als Stereo-Satelliten eingesetzt werden. Hierbei werden die

AR Lautsprecher, mit dem Hochtöner nach unten und oberhalb der Ohrhöhe

hängend, an der Wand montiert.

Verwendung

Bei Verwendung als Deckenreflexionslautsprecher in einem System mit Dolby

Atmos® Technologie positionieren Sie die AR Lautsprecher liegend auf Ihren

Front- bzw. Rear-Lautsprechern. Dabei muss die Stoffabdeckung nach oben

und die schmale Seite des Gehäuses in Richtung Hörplatz zeigen. Ein opti-

males Hörerlebnis stellt sich dann bei einer Deckenhöhe zwischen 2,20 und

3,70 Meter ein. Beachten sie für eine optimale Aufstellung auch die Hinweise

der Dolby Laboratories unter www.dolby.de und lesen Sie für die korrekte

Einstellung des Geräte-Setups die Anleitung ihres Steuergerätes.

Durch die im Gehäuse integrierte Halterung können die AR Lautsprecher

problemlos, mit nur einer Schraube, an der Wand montiert werden. Für ein

stabiles Anliegen an der Wand empfehlen wir hier die Verwendung der mit-

gelieferten Gerätefüße auf der Rückseite des Lautsprechers.
