To remove the cover from this chime hold the black base in one hand and the white cover in the other and gently ease

apart. The chime bars and terminals can now be seen.

BATTERY OPERATION

- Twin bell wire from the bell push should be wired to terminals 0 & 1

- Battery wires are already connected to terminals 2 & 3. (DO NOT REMOVE)

- Attach a 9v PP3 battery to the battery clip. The battery can then slide into it's housing.

TRANSFORMER OPERATION

- Twin bell wire from the bell push should be wired to terminals 0 & 1.

- Twin bell wire from the transformer should be wired to terminals 2 & 3.

- PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE BATTERY IS FULLY REMOVED WHEN USING THIS INSTALLATION

EXISTING INSTALLATION

- Twin bell wire from your existing chime unit should be connected to terminals 0 & 3.

Important - Do not use with an illuminated bell push when using batteries

Warning : FOR ALL TRANSFORMER OPERATIONS. NEVER WIRE THE CHIME DIRECTLY TO THE MAINS. ALL

CHIMES AND PUSHES ARE DESIGNED TO WORK OFF LOW VOLTAGE ONLY.(8V)
