ABOUT THIS MANUAL
Keep these operating instructions for future reference. If the device is
sold or passed on, the operating instructions must be passed on to any
subsequent owner/user of the product.
1. GENERAL WARNINGS
•Risk of suocation! Keep packaging materials (plastic bags,
rubber bands, etc.) away from children! They could play with them
and suocate
•Risk of crushing! This product contains moving components!
When tilting, clamping or rotating these components, there is a
risk that limbs may be crushed!
Risk of property damage!
•Proceed carefully during assembly and only as described in this
manual!
•-Do not load the tripod more heavily than specied by the manu
facturer!
•Keep children and animals away from the tripod! They could knock
it over and thereby damage it.
•The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage to the product
or to devices mounted on it as a result of incorrect assembly or
failure to observe technical specications (see“4. Technical Data”).

Make sure that the ball head is securely screwed onto the tripod head
so that it cannot fall o.
5. Loosen the clamping ring (3) for the extension rod (9) by turning it
counterclockwise and extend the extension rod to the desired height.
Turn the clamping ring clockwise to x the extension rod in position.
5. USING THE BALL HEAD
1. GENERAL INFORMATION (Fig. 2)
The ball head (1) can accommodate a wide variety of camera models*
and other optical devices* (e.g. spotting scopes). The wide range of
swivel and tilt functions enables virtually any observation position.
2. MOUNTING A CAMERA* OR OTHER DEVICES*
1. Loosen the locking lever (1 b) on the ball head.
2.
Pull the quick-release plate (1 a) sideways out of the guide.
3. The
quick-release plate
must be screwed rmly to the internal thread
of the camera or optics using the matching external thread.
IMPORTANT!
Make sure that the release plate is rmly screwed to the device! A de-
vice that is not rmly mounted could come loose from the release plate
during use and fall down!
4. Slide the release plate with the mounted device back into the guide.
5. Tighten the locking lever on the ball head to secure the release plate.
3. AXIS MOVEMENTS
1. Loosen the ball locking knob (1 d and/or 1 e) to move the ball head
(c) into the desired position. Tighten the ball locking knob to x the
ball head in the current position.
2. Loosen the locking knob (1 f) to move the ball head horizontally into the
desired position. Tighten the locking knob again to x the ball head in
the current position.
6. USING THE ADAPTER BOLT
1. The Adapter Bolt is screwed in with the screw (12)
between the tripod head and ball head; see illustra-
tion on the left.
7. USE AS A MONOPOD
1. Unscrew the clamping ring for monopod (5) to
obtain a single tripod leg.
2. Unscrew the ring with hook (10).
3. Screw in the screw (12) where the ring with hook
was removed, together with the single tripod leg.

4. ASSEMBLY
1. The tripod is supplied folded,
with the extension rod and
ball head on the wrong side.
2. First loosen the clamping lever
for the tripod leg (4). The tri-
pod leg should point straight
down for this. After loosening,
rotate the tripod leg once by
180° to the other side. Do the
same with the other two tri-
pod legs.
3. This now places the ball head
on the correct side.
4. Now grasp the tripod leg (6)
by the grip surface (6 a). Press
the clamping lever (4) and
at the same time spread the tripod leg outward. Release the
clamping lever to x the tripod leg in the desired position. Carry
out this process one after the other for all tripod legs.
5. Place the tripod with the legs spread out on a surface that is as
level and stable as possible.
6. Loosen the individual clamping rings (7) for the extendable leg
sections one after the other by turning them counterclockwise
and extend the leg sections to the desired length. Turn the
clamping rings clockwise to x the leg sections in the respective
position.
