•Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.
•This appliance is not intended for use by children.
•Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
•This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical,
sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning safe use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
•Do not operate the appliance for more than 1 continuous minute. Allow the
appliance to rest and cool between uses.
•Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance
malfunctions, or after it has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
•Do not use the appliance if the blades are damaged, bent, misaligned, or
broken.
•Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot
surfaces.
•Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a heated
oven, or near any other heat source.
•Do not use outdoors.
•Use only attachments or accessories supplied or recommended by the
manufacturer.
•Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
•Do not attempt to service, repair, or disassemble the appliance yourself. Refer
servicing to qualified service personnel.

POWER CORD SAFETY
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or
tripping over a longer cord.
Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used:
•The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great
as the electrical rating of the appliance.
•The cord should be arranged so that it does not drape over the countertop or
tabletop where it can be pulled by children or tripped over unintentionally.
POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug, meaning one blade is wider than the other. To
reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug
in any way.
INTENDED USE
This appliance is intended for household use only. It is designed for cutting food such as
cooked meats, poultry, bread, fish, and similar foods.
This appliance is not intended for commercial or industrial use, outdoor use, cutting
frozen foods, cutting bones, cutting non-food materials, or any use other than its
intended purpose.
