setpoint.Avoidmountingwiththesamplelineconnections

inthe“up”position.Surfacemountingbythetwo3/16“

diameterholesintheintegralmountingbracket.The

mounting holes are 3 7/8” apart as shown in Figure 3.

TheSPCisdesignedtoacceptaflexibletubingbymeans

ofabarbed1/4”slip-onconnection.A36”pieceof¼˝ED

FlexibleTubingisincludedwiththeSPCaswellasthe

PitotTubeformountingintheplenum.Locatethesam-

plingprobeaminimumof2feetdownstreamfromtheair

source. Installthesamplingprobeasclosetothecenterof

theairstreamaspossible. Donotallowsupplypressureto

blowdirectlyintothePitotTube. Connecttheprovided

flexibletubingtothe High-PressureInletasshownin

EachSPCincludesaSPDTRelaythatshouldbewiredin

conjunctionwiththeSPCandPower-Open/Power-Close

DamperasshowninFigure1.Thisrelayisincludedso

thatwhenthereisNOCALLfortheFANontheequipment

sideoftheBraeburnZoneControllerthebypassdamper

willdriveopen. WhenaFANcalloccurstherelayallows

SPC to operate normally.

TheSPCisastaticpressureswitchdesignedtosensepositivepressurein

the plenum for the purpose of controlling modulating bypass position.

Theplatedhousingcontainsadiaphragm,acalibrationspringandasnap-

actingSPDTswitch.Thebarbedsamplelineconnectionslocatedoneach

sideofthediaphragmaccept flexibletubing.Theenclosurecoverguards

againstaccidentalcontactwiththeliveswitchterminalandsetpointadjust-

ing screws. The enclosure cover will accept a ½˝ conduit connection.

Pitot tube (air-probe) for mounting in plenum and 36 inches of flexible

¼ ˝ I.D. poly tubing is included with each SPC.
