USING YOUR IRON

1. Plug the iron into an outlet. The red Power Indicator Light will illuminate and blink on the handle,

indicating that the iron is heating.

2. Read the manufacturer fabric labels for material content and clothing care recommendations to help

select the correct temperature setting.









3. Select the temperature on the iron by turning the “Temp” dial until you’ve reached the desired fabric

setting.









4. The Power Indicator light will turn solid when it has reached the selected temperature.

5. To dry iron (iron without steam), it is not necessary to empty the water tank; simply move the variable

steam selector dial all the way to the left on the Dry Iron setting ().

6. To iron with steam, push the steam selector dial to the desired amount of steam. For optimal results,

the steam settings should be used with the following temperature settings:

No Steam (selector on far left): Silk and Polyester

Steam Setting 1: Cotton Blends

Steam Setting 2: Wool

Steam Setting 3: Linen

7. When finished ironing, turn the dial to the MIN setting and unplug from the outlet.

8. Stand iron on its heel rest and allow it to cool off.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

Burst of Steam:

Use for ironing in the vertical and horizontal position. Press the steam burst button to generate a burst of

steam.







 

For best performance, leave several seconds between bursts.

Spray Mist:

Press the spray mist button to generate a spray of water.









Spray mist is used to dampen tough wrinkles

while dry or steam ironing. Do not spray silk.

3-way Auto Shut Off

The iron will automatically switch to standby mode after 30 seconds of inactivity if left on its soleplate or

side. If left vertically, on the heel rest, it will turn off after 8 minutes. When the iron is in Auto-shut off, the

red light on the handle will blink. Simply move the iron to take it off stand-by.

CARE AND CLEANING

This product contains no user serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified service personnel.

CLEANING OUTSIDE SURFACES

1. Mare sure iron is unplugged and has cooled completely.

2. Wipe the soleplate and outer surfaces with a soft cloth dampened with water. Add gentle household

detergent, like dishwashing liquid, if desired. Never use abrasives, heavy-duty cleaners, vinegar or

scouring pads that may scratch or discolor the iron.

3. After cleaning, turn iron back on. Steam iron over an old cloth to remove any residue from the steam

vents.

4. When finished cleaning, turn iron off and allow time to cool before storing.

AUTO CLEAN™ SYSTEM

To keep the steam vents free of any buildup, follow these instructions about once a month.

1. Fill the water tank well below the MAX fill line. Plug in the iron.

2. Select the Wool Fabric setting (Number 5) on the Temp dial and stand the iron on its heel while it

preheats.

3. Once the blue light is no longer blinking and the iron has reached the desired temperature; turn it off

and then unplug it from the outlet.

4. Hold iron over a sink with the soleplate facing down.

5. Move the variable steam selector dial over to the Auto Clean™ setting and hold it in that position. Be

careful, as hot water and steam will come out of the vents.

6. Continue to hold the dial in the position until all of the water has emptied. If necessary, move the iron

side-to-side and front-to-back to aid the process.

7. When finished, release the dial from the Auto Clean™ position and place the iron on its heel rest.

8. Plug the iron back in and allow it to heat for about 2 minutes to dry out any remaining water.

STORING YOUR IRON

1. Once the iron is turned off, unplug it from the outlet and allow it to cool.

2. Check that the variable steam selector is set to dry.

3. Wrap the cord loosely around the iron.

4. Store vertically on its heel to prevent water leaking from the soleplate.

IRONING TIPS AND TRICKS

• The iron can be filled with ordinary tap water; if your water is hard or soft, you may want to use

distilled water. Do not use water processed through a home softening system.

• For optimum performance, allow the iron to stand on the heel rest about two minutes before

beginning to iron.

• If you’re unsure of the fabric’s content, test a small area (on the inside seam or hem) before you

proceed to iron the entire garment or cloth.

• Whenever ironing a garment with mixed fabrics, select the fabric setting for the most delicate fabric.

For example, when ironing a shirt that is 65% cotton and 35% polyester, use the polyester setting.

• Whenever temperature settings are changed to a higher or lower temperature, allow the iron to stand

a minute or so to allow heat up or cool down. Test garment by pressing a small hidden area to make

sure temperature of iron is correct.

When using your iron, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the

following:

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

GETTING STARTED

• Remove the plastic band around the power plug and all labels, tags and stickers attached to the

body, cord, or soleplate of the iron.

FILLING WATER TANK

1. With iron on a flat surface with soleplate down or tilted at a 45-degree angle, open the water-fill cover.

2. Using a clean measuring cup, pour water into opening until water reaches the MAX level mark on the

side of the water tank. Do not overfill. Close the water-fill cover securely.

3. Stand the iron on the heel rest.

4. To refill at any time during the ironing process, unplug the iron and follow the above procedure.

Llenado del tanque de agua

1. Con la plancha colocada sobre una superficie plana y la suela orientada hacia abajo o inclinada a un

ángulo de 45 grados, abra la tapa de llenado de agua.

2. Utilizando una taza de medir limpia, vierta agua en el orificio hasta la marca de llenado “MAX”,

situada a un lado del tanque de agua. No exceda el nivel de llenado. Cierre la tapa de llenado de agua

firmemente.

3. Coloque la plancha en posición vertical sobre el talón de descanso.

4. Para volver a llenar el tanque en cualquier momento durante el proceso de planchado, desenchufe la

plancha y siga el procedimiento anterior.

USO DE SU PLANCHA

1. Enchufe la plancha a un tomacorriente. La luz indicadora de encendido roja se ilumina y parpadea en

el mango, indicando que la plancha está calentando.

2. Lea la etiqueta de fabricante para informarse sobre el tipo de tejido y las recomendaciones sobre el

cuidado de la ropa y así ayudarle a seleccionar el ajuste de temperatura correcto.









3. Seleccione la temperatura en la plancha, girando el dial de temperatura “Temp” hasta que alcance

el ajuste de la temperatura para el tejido deseado.









4. La luz indicadora de encendido cambiará a sólida cuando la plancha alcance la temperatura

seleccionada.

5. Para planchar en seco (planchar sin vapor), no es necesario vaciar el tanque de agua; simplemente

mueva completamente el dial selector de temperatura variable hacia la izquierda hasta el ajuste Dry

Iron (planchar en seco) ().

6. Para planchar con vapor, presione el dial selector de vapor hasta la cantidad de vapor deseada. Para

resultados óptimos, los ajustes de vapor deben utilizarse con los siguientes ajustes de temperatura:

Sin vapor (selector situado en el extremo izquierdo): Seda y poliéster

Ajuste de vapor 1: Mezclas de algodón

7. Cuando termine de planchar, gire el dial al ajuste MIN y desenchufe la plancha del tomacorriente.

8. Coloque la plancha en posición vertical sobre su talón de descanso y deje que se enfríe.

FUNCIONES ADICIONALES

Golpe de vapor:

Utilice para planchar en posición vertical y horizontal. Presione el botón de golpe de vapor para generar

un golpe de vapor.







 

Para el mejor rendimiento, deje pasar varios segundos entre cada golpe de vapor.

Rocío fino:

Presione el botón de rocío fino para generar un rocío de agua.









La función de rocío fino se utiliza para

humedecer las arrugas difíciles al planchar en seco o con vapor. No rocíe el tejido de seda.

Apagado automático en 3 posiciones

La plancha pasará automáticamente al modo de espera después de 30 segundos de inactividad si se

deja descansar sobre la suela o sobre un costado. Si se deja descansar en posición vertical, sobre su

talón de descanso, se apagará después de 8 minutos. Cuando la plancha está en el modo de apagado

automático, la luz indicadora roja en el mango parpadeará. Simplemente mueva la plancha para activar la

plancha.

CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA

Limpieza de las superficies exteriores

1. Asegúrese de que la plancha esté desenchufada y que se haya enfriado por completo.

aproximadamente una vez al mes.

1. Llene el tanque de agua bien por debajo de la línea de llenado “MAX”. Enchufe la plancha.

2. Seleccione el ajuste “Wool Fabric” (tejido de lana) (número 5) en el dial de Temp (temperatura) y deje

Para guardar su plancha

1. Una vez que la plancha este apagad, desenchúfela del tomacorriente y deje que se enfríe.

2. Verifique que el selector de vapor variable esté en la posición de seco.

3. Enrolle holgadamente el cable alrededor de la plancha.

4. Guarde en posición vertical sobre su talón de descanso para evitar goteos de agua de la suela.

TRUCOS Y CONSEJOS PARA EL PLANCHADO

• La plancha puede llenarse con agua normal de llave; si su agua es dura o suave, quizás deba

considerar utilizar agua destilada. No utilice agua procesada a través de un sistema suavizador
