IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS INSTRUCCIONES IMPO

When using electrical appliances, to reduce

the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury,

basic safety precautions should always be fol-

lowed, including the following:

■Please read all instructions.

■Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or

knobs.

■To protect against fire or electric shock, do

not remove bottom cover from coffeemaker

base. There are no user-serviceable parts

inside. Repairs should be done by autho-

rized service personnel only.

■Close supervision is necessary when any

appliance is used by or near children.

■Unplug from outlet when coffeemaker is not

in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool

before putting on or taking off parts and

before cleaning the coffeemaker.

■Do not operate any appliance with a dam-

aged cord or plug or after the appliance

malfunctions or has been damaged in any

manner. Return the appliance to the near-

est authorized service facility for examina-

tion, repair, or adjustment.

■The use of an accessory not evaluated for

use with this coffeemaker may cause fire,

electric shock, or injury.

■Do not use outdoors.

■Do not let cord hang over edge of table or

counter or touch hot surfaces.

■Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric

stove or burner or in a heated oven.

■Do not use coffeemaker for other than

intended purpose.

■The Thermal Carafe is designed for use with

this appliance. It must never be used on a

range top.

■Allow filter basket to cool before removing it

from coffeemaker.

■Do not pour liquid other than water and the

cleaning solution specified in this manual

into the water reservoir.

■Do not move entire unit when Thermal

Carafe contains hot liquid.

■Do not operate in the presence of explosive

and/or flammable fumes.

■This product is intended for household use

ONLY and not for commercial or industrial

use.

■Do not use the Thermal Carafe in any other

drip coffeemaker.

■Do not disassemble the Thermal Carafe.

■Do not use the Thermal Carafe in a

microwave oven.

■Do not place any sharp or hard objects in

the Thermal Carafe.

■Do not use a cracked carafe.

■Keep serving lid on Thermal Carafe during

brewing and while serving coffee.

■Do not clean Thermal Carafe with

cleansers, steel wool pads, or other abra-

sive material.

■If the glass liner should break, do not con-

sumer remaining beverage.

■Do not fill the Thermal Carafe with carbon-

ated beverages.

■Avoid sudden temperature changes for the

glass liner. If the glass liner is hot, do not

add very cold water or vice versa.

■Do not immerse Thermal Carafe in water.

Cuando se usan aparatos electrónicos, para

reducir el riesgo de incendio, choque eléctrico

y/o lesiones personales, deben tomarse algu-

nas precauciones incluyendo las siguientes:

cafetera no contiene piezas reparables en

cuando cualquier aparato electrónico sea

usado por o cerca de un niño.

■Desconecte la cafetera del tomacorriente

cuando no esté en uso y antes de limpiarla.

Permita que la cafetera se enfríe completa-

mente antes de ponerle o quitarle partes y

antes de limpiarla.

■No opere ningún aparato electrónico si el

cable, el enchufe o bien, el mismo aparato

ha sido dañado. Devuélvalo a un centro de

servicio autorizado para que lo examinen,

reparen o ajusten.

■El uso de cualquier accesorio no evaluado

para ser usado con esta cafetera, puede

causar incendio, choque eléctrico o

lesiones personales.

■No use la cafetera a la intemperie.

■No permita que el cable cuelgue del borde

de la mesa o del mostrador o que entre en

contacto con superficies calientes.

■No coloque la cafetera sobre ni cerca de

una estufa de gas o eléctrica ni sobre una

hornilla o de dentro de un horno caliente.

■No use la cafetera con otro fin más que

para el cual p3-ha sido diseñada.

■La jarra térmica p3-ha sido diseñada para ser

usada únicamente con esta cafetera. No

debe de ser usada nunca sobre una hornilla.

■Permita que el recipiente para el filtro se

enfríe antes de retirarlo de la cafetera.

■No vierta en el deposito ningún otro liquido

que no sea agua o la solución limpiadora

especificada en este manual para limpiar la

cafetera.

■No mueva de lugar la unidad completa

cuando contenga líquido caliente.

■No opere la cafetera en presencia de gases

explosivos y/o inflamables.

■Este producto p3-ha sido diseñado SOLA-

MENTE para uso doméstico y no para uso

industrial o comercial.

■No use la jarra térmica con ninguna otra

cafetera de goteo.

■No desarme la jarra térmica.

■No introduzca la jarra térmica dentro de un

horno microondas.

■No introduzca objetos duros o con filo den-

tro de la jarra.

■No utilice la jarra si el cristal está rajado.

■Mantenga la jarra cubierta con la tapa

mientras se cuela el café y al servirlo.

■No limpie la jarra con productos abrasivos

ni con almohadillas de fibras metálicas o de

cualquier otra textura abrasiva.

■Si el cristal de la jarra se llegara a romper,

no consuma el resto de la bebida.

■No vierta ninguna bebida carbonada dentro

de la jarra.

■Evite los cambios de temperatura repenti-

nos para proteger el cristal. Si el cristal

está caliente no vierta agua fría dentro de

la jarra y viceversa.

■No sumerja la jarra térmica en agua.
