Il est supposé que des connaissances dé-
taillées en la matière ont été acquises dans le
cadre de mesures de formation Instabus pour
mieux comprendre le système.

Gefahrenhinweise
Achtung! Einbau und Montage elektrischer
Geräte dürfen nur durch eine Elektrofachkraft
erfolgen. Dabei sind die geltenden Unfallver-
hütungsvorschriften zu beachten.
Zur Vermeidung eines elektrischen Schlages,
vor Arbeiten am Gerät freischalten
(Sicherungsautomat abschalten).
Bei Nichtbeachtung der Installationshinweise
können Schäden am Gerät, Brand oder
andere Gefahren entstehen.
Funktion
Mit dem Dimmaktor 215 W sind NV-Halogen-
lampen in Verbindung mit Tronic Trafos sowie
HV-Halogenlampen und 230 V - Glühlampen zu
dimmen.
Schalt- und Dimmbefehle erfolgen durch
Betätigung von Tastsensoren, Dimmsensoren,
Infrarot - Sensoren oder Binäreingängen des
instabus EIB-Systems.
Eine Temperatursicherung bewirkt die Abschal-
tung bei 95 °C. Elektronische Leistungsrück-
regelung erfolgt bei Ãœberlast.
Besteht sie länger als sieben Sekunden, schaltet
der Dimmaktor für eine Minute ab. Ist die Überlast
beseitigt, so schaltet der Aktor auf die vorher
eingestellte Helligkeit ein.
Einstellung
Die Memory - Funktion, d. h. es wird auf den
zuletzt eingestellten Helligkeitswert eingeschaltet,
ist einstellbar.
Die Dimmzeit ist einstellbar.
Der Schaltstatus des Dimmaktors kann auf den
instabus EIB gesendet werden. Eine Abfrage
des Helligkeitswertes über den instabus EIB
ermöglicht die Einbindung in Lichtszenen.

Attention: Electrical equipment must be
installed and fitted only by qualified
electricians and in observance of the
applicable accident prevention regulations.
To prevent electric shocks, disconnect the
power supply before working on the device
(by cutting out the circuit breaker).
Any non-observance of the fitting instruc-
tions may cause fire or other hazards.
Function
The Dimactuator 215 W allows the dimming of
LV halogen lamps powered via Tronic transform-
ers, of HV halogen lamps, and of 230 V
incandescent lamps.
Switching and dimming commands are issued
by operation of touch sensors, dimming sensors,
infrared sensors or via the binary inputs of the
instabus EIB-system.
A thermal trip-out switch cuts off power as soon
as temperature exceeds 95°C.
An electronic overload protection device will cause
a reduction of power under overload conditions.
The Dimactuator will switch off for one minute if
the overload lasts longer than 7 seconds. The
Dimactuator will return to previous brilliance as
soon as the overload condition has been removed.
Adjustment
The memory function is adjustable which means
that the unit will start up with the last brilliance
setting.
Dimming time is adjustable.
The Dimactuator’s switching status may be sent
over the instabus EIB. Interrogation of the
brilliance value via the instabus EIB allows its
integration in lighting scenes.

Veiligheidsinstructies
Installatie en montage van elektrische
apparaten mogen uitsluitend door een
landelijk erkend installatiebedrijf worden
uitgevoerd. Daarbij de geldende ongevallen-
preventie-voorschriften naleven.
Ter vermijding van elektrische schok het
toestel voorafgaand aan de werkzaamheden
altijd eerst spanningvrij schakelen (veilig-
heidsautomaat uitschakelen). Bij veron-acht-
zaming van de installatie-instructies kunnen
brand of andere gevaren optreden.
Functie
Met de Dimactor 215 W kunnen LV halogeen-
lampen in combinatie met Tronic transformatoren
en ook HV halogeen en 230 V gloeilampen worden
gedimd.
Schalkel- en dimcommando’s worden gegeven
d.m.v. pulssensoren, dimsensoren, infrarood
sensoren of via de binaire ingangen van het
instabus EIB-systeem.
Een thermische beveiliging zorgt voor het
uitschakelen 95 °C.
Elektronische terugregeling van het vermogen
treedt bij overbelasting op. Als de overbelasting
langer dan zeven seconden blijft duren, schakelt
de Dimactor één minuut uit. Nadat de overbe-
lasting verholpen is, stelt de Dimactor weer de
voorheen heersende helderheid in.
Instelling
De memory functie is instelbaar, d.w.z. dat altijd de
laatste waarde van de helderheid ingeschakeld
wordt.
De dimtijd is instelbaar.
De schakelstatus van de Dimactor kan over de
instabus EIB worden gezonden. Het afvragen van
de helderheidswaarde via de instabus EIB maakt
een integratie in lichtscènes mogelijk.
Technische wijzigingen voorbehouden.
Consignes de securité
Attention! La mise en place et le montage

prévention des accidents en vigueur.
Pour éviter des chocs électriques, déconnecter
toujours l’alimentation secteur (en déclenchant
le disjoncteur) avant d’intervenir sur l’appareil.
La non-observation des instructions de
montage peut provoquer des incendies ou
autres dangers.
Fonction
L’actionneur de variation de lumière 215 W per-
met de varier la luminosité de lampes à halogène
BT combinées à des transformateurs Tronic ainsi
que des lampes à halogène HT et des lampes à
incandescence 230 V.
Les ordres de commutation et de variation de
luminosité sont réalisés via palpeurs, capteurs
de variation, capteurs infrarouges ou entrées
binaires du système instabus EIB.
Un dispositif de protection thermique déclenche
une mise hors fonction lorsqu’une température
de 95 °C est atteinte.
Un système électronique de réduction de puissance
se déclenche en cas de surcharge. Si cette
surcharge se prolonge au-delà de 7 secondes,
l’actionneur de variation devient inactif pour en-
viron 1 minute. Lorsque la surcharge est élimi-
née, l’actionneur commute la luminosité réglée
auparavant.
Réglage
La fonction de mémoire est réglable, c’est-à-dire
que c’est toujours la valeur de luminosité réglée
en dernier qui est commutée.
Le temps de variation est réglable.
L’état de commutation de l’activateur de variation
peut être émis sur l’instabus EIB. Une interroga-
tion de la valeur de luminosité par l’intermédiaire
de l’instabus EIB en permet l’intégration dans des
scènes de lumière et la visualisation.

Funksjon
Ved hjelp av dimaktuatoren 215 W kan
lavspennings-halogenlamper i forbindelse med
Tronic - transformatorer samt høyspennings-
halogenlamper og 230 V - glødelamper dimmes.
Koplings- og dimmekommandoer gis ved å
betjene tastesensorer, dimsensorer, infrarød -
sensorer eller binærinnganger til instabus EIB-
systemet.
En temperatursikring utløser utkopling ved
95°C. Ved overbelastning utføres en
elektronisk effekt-tilbakeregulering. Hvis denne
foreligger i mer enn syv sekunder, kopler
dimaktuatoren ut i ett minutt. NÃ¥r
overbelastningen er fjernet, kopler aktuatoren
om til lysstyrken som var innstilt på forhånd.
Innstilling
Memory - funksjonen er innstillbar, dvs. det
koples inn til den lysstyrkeverdien som som
var innstilt sist.
Dimtiden er innstillbar.
Dimaktuatorens koplingsstatus kan sendes til
instabus EIB. En avspørring av
lysstyrkeverdien via instabus EIB gjør det mulig
med integrering i lysscener.
Rett til tekniske endringer forbeholdes.
