Attention! Let the vehicle sit with the key
out of the ignition for a few minutes before
removing the factory radio. When testing the
aftermarket equipment, ensure that all factory
equipment is connected before cycling the
key to ignition.

1. Remove the left and right shifter side
trim panels. (Figure A)
2a. Auto transmission vehicles:
Unclip the shifter trim. (Figure B)
Note: The boot and knob will remain
in place.
2b. Manual transmission vehicles: Unclip
the shifter trim and pull straight up on
the shift knob to remove the knob and
trim as one unit. (Figure C)
Note: This requires a lot of force, do not
twist the knob or the locking tab inside
the shift knob will break.
