Requirements

Source Device

The following equipment must be installed on the device or computer that acts as

the source of HDMI content:

• HDMI Type A output connector(s)

Display Device

• A display device or receiver with an HDMI Type A input connector for each

output port you will be installing

Cables

• HDMI cable for the source device

• HDMI cables for each output port you will be installing

Notes:

1. A DVI/HDMI adapter is required when connecting to a DVI source or display

device.

2. If a DVI/HDMI adapted is used, audio is not supported.

3. We recommend using high-quality cables when cascading HDMI splitters to

maintain a strong signal.

Single Stage Installation

Refer to the installation diagram below and do the following:

1. Use a Male-to-Male Type A HDMI cable to connect your computer or HDMI

source device to the VS0108H’s HDMI Input port.

2. Use up to eight Male-to-Male Type A HDMI cables to connect up to eight HDMI

display devices to the VS0108H’s Output ports.

3. Plug the power adapter that came with the VS0108H package into an AC

power source, the plug the power adapter cable into the splitter’s Power Jack.

Installation du matériel

Installation simple

suit :

1. Reliez votre ordinateur ou votre périphérique source HDMI au port d’entrée

HDMI du VS0108H à l’aide d’un câble HDMI mâle-mâle de type A.

2. Vous pouvez utiliser jusqu’à huit câbles HDMI mâle-mâle de type A pour relier

Einzelinstallation

Für die Durchführung der folgenden Schritte, siehe die untenstehende Abbildung:

1. Verwenden Sie ein HDMI-Kabel Typ A (Männlein auf Männlein), und verbinden

VS0108H.

Note: The VS0108H will automatically detect the lowest resolution of any monitor

in the installation.

Cascading

To provide even more HDMI displays, additional units can be cascaded from

the VS0108H’s Output ports. Simply use additional Male-to-Male Type A HDMI

cables to connect an Output port on the parent splitter to the Input port on the

child splitter.

Recommended distances between devices in all cascade levels for transmitting a

high resolution signal are as follows:

Source to VS0108H 1.8 m

VS0108H to VS0108H 15m

VS0108H to display 20 m

HDCP Limitation in Cascade

If your HDMI content is HDCP-enabled, the VS0108H will only support the

number of displays that there are HDCP keys available (127 displays). If your

HDMI content is not HDCP-enabled, the VS0108H supports a full three-level

cascade (512 displays).

Remarque : Le VS0108H détecte automatiquement l’écran ayant la plus faible

résolution de l’installation.

Installation en cascade

An de pouvoir utiliser encore plus de périphériques d’afchage HDMI, vous

pouvez installer des appareils supplémentaires en cascade depuis les ports de

sortie du VS0108H. Reliez simplement un port de sortie du répartiteur parent au

Limitation HDCP en cascade

Reihenschaltung

Um noch mehr HDMI-Displays anschließen zu können, lassen sich weitere

HDCP-Einschränkung bei Reihenschaltung

Wenn Ihre HDMI-Inhalte HDCP unterstützen, unterstützt der VS0108H nur

die Anzahl Anzeigegeräte, für die HDCP-Schlüssel verfügbar sind (127

Anzeigegeräte). Unterstützen Ihre HDMI-Inhalte kein HDCP, unterstützt der

VS0108H alle Anzeigegeräte in einer Kaskadenschaltung mit drei Ebenen (512

より多くのディスプレイを接続したい場合は、VS0108Hをカスケード接

HDCP堆疊限制

如果你的 H D M I 影音內容是支援 H D C P ， V S 01 0 8 H 僅支援 H D C P 密鑰所

能提供的顯示裝置數量(127個顯示裝置)。如果你的HDMI並沒有支援

HDCP，VS0108H能支援三層堆疊串接的顯示裝置數量(512個顯示裝置)

Requisiti

Dispositivo sorgente

Sul computer sorgente del contenuto HDMI, o su quello che opera come tale,

deve essere installato il seguente dispositivo:

• Connettore/i d’uscita HDMI tipo A

Dispositivo di visualizzazione

• Un dispositivo di visualizzazione o un ricevitore con un connettore d’entrata

HDMI tipo A per ogni porta d’uscita che verrà installata

Cavi

• cavo HDMI per il dispositivo sorgente

Note:

1. in caso di connessione a una sorgente DVI o a un dispositivo di visualizzazione

è necessario un adattatore DVI/HDMI.

2. Nel caso in cui venga utilizzato un adattatore DVI/HDMI, l’audio non è

supportato.

3. Quando si collegano a cascata gli splitter HDMI, si consiglia di utilizzare cavi

di alta qualità per mantenere un segnale video forte.

Installazione hardware

Installazione singola

Fare riferimento all’illustrazione seguente per l’installazione:

1. Utilizzare un cavo HDMI di tipo A maschio-maschio per collegare il proprio

computer o il dispositivo sorgente HDMI alla porta in entrata del VS0108H.

2. Utilizzare no a un massimo di 8 cavi HDMI di tipo A maschio-maschio per

collegare no a 8 dispositivi di visualizzazione HDMI alle porte in uscita del

VS0108H.

3. Inserire la spina dell’alimentatore in dotazione al VS0108H in una presa di

corrente CA, quindi inserire il cavo dell’alimentatore nella presa d’alimentazione

dello splitter.

Nota: il VS0108H rileverà automaticamente la risoluzione più bassa dei monitor installati.

Collegamento in cascata

Per ottenere un maggior numero di visualizzazioni HDMI, è possibile collegare in

cascata, dalle porte d’uscita del VS0108H, ulteriori dispositivi. Basterà utilizzare

altri cavi HDMI di tipo A maschio-maschio per collegare una porta in uscita dello

splitter a monte alla porta in entrata dello splitter a valle.

Distanze consigliate fra i dispositivi in tutti i livelli di cascata per la trasmissione di

un segnale ad alta risoluzione:

Dalla sorgente al VS0108H 1,8 m

Dal VS0108H al VS0108H 15m

Dal VS0108H allo schermo 20 m

Limitazioni HDCP nei collegamenti a cascata

Qualora il contenuto HDMI sia di tipo HDCP, il VS0108H supporterà solamente

un numero di monitor pari alle chiavi HDCP disponibili (127 monitor). Qualora il

contenuto HDMI non sia di tipo HDCP, il VS0108H supporterà l'intera cascata a

tre livelli (512 monitor).
