The panel, still referred to
affectionately as the Aston 33 after
the founders, has now grown to over
120 members who now help in the
development process of each new

cardioid condenser mic. It’s versatile enough
to use with any instrument and excels on
acoustic guitar and vocals. Its hand-selected
one inch (1”) gold evaporated capsule
is paired with high-end transformerless
circuitry using only the nest components.
The Origin delivers direct, smooth and
intimate sound… for a supremely natural
and transparent recording.
