Description
Exceptionally compact top for two D5 pumps, made from durable acetal. Coolant
flow is directed through both pumps consecutively, thereby doubling pressure and
ensuring redundant operation in case of a pump failure. Main focus during devel-
opment of the ULTITOP DUAL D5 were optimum flow characteristics, reducing
noise and vibration to a bare minimum.
Two fastening rings made from anodized aluminum and two gaskets are supplied
to attach two D5 pumps (not included in delivery) to the ULTITOP DUAL. The
mounting bracket is equipped with silicone decouplers specifically designed for the
ULTITOP, effectively preventing remaining vibrations from being transmitted to the
PC case. Stainless steel plates with M3 threads inserted into the decouplers ensure
convenient installation.

If you have complete D5 pumps instead of D5 pump motors, you will have to dis-
assemble the pumps first. The only parts needed are the housing with electronic
components and the impeller.
Install each pump motor as follows:
1. Place the gasket into the ULTITOP base part.
2. Place the D5 pump motor on top of the ULTITOP base part.
3. D5 NEXT only: Remove the controller unit from the pump
4. Slide the mounting ring onto the rear side of the pump motor and fasten the
ring by screwing it onto the ULTITOP base part.
5. D5 NEXT only: Re-attach the controller unit to the pump.

Connect the return line to the connector of the ULTITOP DUAL D5 engraved with
the word “IN” and connect the other line to the remaining connector. Use light
force only when screwing in fittings in order not to damage the threads in the plas-
tic base part!
