1. Smart Fortwo with
radio preparation (pocket)
or OEM head unit
2. Remove the switch unit
(xed by clamps)
by pulling it towards you
3. Remove the TORX TX25 screw
holding the surrounding frame
(see arrow)
4. Remove surrounding frame
(xed by clamps) - by pulling it
towards you
Remove the 4 screws (see arrows)
pull out the pocket / OEM head unit

6. Fix INE-W928R with OEM Screws
Place facia plate and x it with OEM
TORX TX25 screw (see step 3)
7. Reinstall everything in reverse
order to nish installation
5. Mount mounting brackets
left and right to INE-W928R
Connect all required circuit
points and place the Double
DIN head unit on dash board
