Things to consider:

• Other wireless equipment using thesame frequency

can reduce thetransmissionrange.

• Therange of all wireless equipment depends on

thetype of obstacles located between thetransmitter

and thereceiver (e.g. aconcrete wall will interfere with

thesignal more than aplasterboard wall).

If you experience problems, try thefollowing:

• Turn off any other existing wireless equipment to

check whether this is thecause of theproblem.

• Reposition thewireless equipment, shorten

thedistance between thetransmitter and

thereceiveror reduce thenumber of obstacles

(walls,furniture,etc.) betweenthem.

Safety

• Never subject thereceiver switch to high

temperatures, dust, heavy vibration, impacts, humidity

or moisture.

• Never attempt to dismantle thereceiver as it contains

no user-serviceableparts.

Product description

• This remote switch is intended to be used with

Zipabox Duo and other Z-wave-system products,

regardless of manufacturer.

• Plug-in-type. Dimsand turns plugged in devices on/

off,e.g.lamps.

• Supports 2-way communications which allows

thereceiver to report back on its status.

• Measures theenergy consumption of theconnected

device and reports this information back to

theZ-wave controlunit.

• Controlled by smartphone or tablet via agateway like

theZipabox Duo or directly via aseparate remote

control (sold separately). Caneven be controlled

manually by pushing thebutton on the receiver.

• Also equipped with abuilt-in repeater function which

allows other remote receivers to more readily receive

signals by repeating thesignals it receives from

thegateway or remote control.

Installation

1. Plug thereceiver into awall socket.

2. Set your Z-wave control device to learningmode.

3. Push thebutton on thereceiver to connect it to your

existing Z-wave network.

Care and maintenance

• Always disconnect thereceiver from thewall socket

before cleaning.

• Thereceiver should be cleaned by wiping it with

adrycloth.

Troubleshootingguide

If thereceiver

does not work

then check

thefollowing.

• Make sure that thereceiver

is connected to your Z-wave

network.

• Check that thereceiver

is properly plugged into

theelectrical socket.

• Check that thewall socket islive.

• Make sure theconnected light is

turnedon.

• Make sure that thedistance

between thedevices is not

toogreat.

• Make sure that there is nothing

hindering wireless transmission

such as other interfering wireless

devices, walls, ceilings,etc.
