When the machine is first powered up, the A/M will carry out a self-functional testing for 5 seconds and
the Dual digit display will start to running until this testing complete. Then, it will sound with a long beep
as well as a “00” show on the display. The A/M goes to the standby mode.
Answering Machine Operation
1.Turn on and off the answering machine
Press and hold the ‘On/Off’ button by 2sec The answering machine is activated on when it is
originally in off mode. It will prompt ‘Answering
machine on, Announcement one’ and a short beep is
followed. The display will shows the number of
message being recorded.
Press the ‘On/OFF’ button again (During A/M at
standby mode). To select OGM2.
A short beep will be heard then prompt
‘Announcement two’. Switch to “answer only” mode.
Press again to switch back to ‘Answer and record
mode’. To select back to OGM1.
After a short beep, then prompt ‘Announcement one’.
Switch to answer and record mode, answer with
recorded OGM.
Press and hold the ‘On/Off’ button again (for 2sec) The answering machine is turn off. Prompt
‘Answering off’ and two short beep will be heard.
The display will shows two dash ‘- -‘.
Note: When the answering machine is powered on, the status of the DTAM should be defaulted as in
answer ON mode.
2. Set up the answering machine
2.1 OGM recording
Press and hold ‘OGM’ button for 2 seconds After a long beep, A/M start the OGM recording and
the display shows ‘ Or’ to indicate OGM recording.
Press ‘Stop’ button to end recording. A long beep to indicate stop recording then play the
OGM once and followed be a long beep. The display
shows ‘OP’ to indicate O PGM layback.
Press ‘OGM’ once. To play the announcement once again, similarly ‘OP’
is displaying on the 7-segment.
To recall the default OGM by press the ‘Delete’ key
during OGM playback
Default announcement will be play on the speaker.
Toggle OGM1 or OGM2 By press the ‘STOP’ key once, the A/M will prompt
‘Announcement two’ & display ‘o2’, To press ‘STOP’
key again, it will prompt ‘Announcement one’ &
display ‘o2’.
Note: Default OGM1 – such as ‘Sorry I can’t answer call now, please leave your message after the beep’,
Default OGM2 – such as ‘Please call later’.
The time duration of OGM recording should be with 2 seconds < duration < 2 min.
2.2 Set day and time, the default day and time is “Sunday, 12:00”
Press and hold the ‘Time’ button for 2 seconds
(Set day of week)
After a short beep, the A/M is ready to set the day of
week, then, prompt ‘ Please set day, pause, then
prompt current day. The symbol “CL” will display on
the 7-segment too.
Press ‘FF’ or ‘RW’ to select days Prompt at each selection.
Press ‘Time’ button to accept day setting and jump to
“hours setting”
Prompt ‘Please set time’, pause then prompt current
hour.
Press ‘FF’ or ‘RW’ to select hours Prompt at each selection.
Press ‘Time’ button to accept the hour setting and Prompt ‘Please set minute’, pause then prompt current
