MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Optional second appliance: Remove the front plate by applying force to the

front side of the rack until it comes loose. Then move the plate back and forth

in quick succession until it breaks off. Beware of possible sharp edges.

2. Place the HP appliance in the rack.

3. Use two bolts to secure the appliance from the bottom of the rack.

4. Place the power supply on the extension plate and secure it with two zip ties.

Secure any excess length of the power cable with the third zip tie next to the

power supply.

5. Slide the extension plate into the rack.

6. Connect the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port.

Please ensure proper ventilation according to the network appliance

manufacturer’s guidelines.
