100 V Audio Transformer
These instructions are intended for in-
stallers with sufficient knowledge of
100 V technology for PA applications.
Please read the instructions carefully
prior to installation and keep them for
later reference.
1 Applications
This audio transformer is especially de-
signed for applications in PA systems op-
erating with 100 V technology. Via this
transformer, a 4 Ω speaker can be con-
nected to the 100 V line of the system.
2 Safety Notes
The transformer corresponds to all rele-
vant directives of the EU and is therefore
marked with .
• The transformer is only suitable for in-
door use. Protect it against humidity
and heat (admissible ambient temper-
ature range 0 – 40 °C).
• For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth,
never use chemicals or water.
• No guarantee claims for the trans-
former or liability for any resulting
personal damage or material damage
will be accepted if the transformer
is used for other purposes than orig-
inally intended, if it is not correctly
connected or if it is overloaded.
If the transformer is to be put out
of operation definitively, take it to a
recycling plant for a disposal which
is not harmful to the environment.
3 Electrical Connection
WARNING During operation, there is a
hazard of contact with a dan-
gerous voltage of up to 100 V
at the connection wires.
The connection must be made by skilled
personnel only. Always insulate the
connection wires not used.
Make sure that the amplifier is not
overloaded. The total power of all con-
nected speakers (transformers) must
not exceed the amplifier power.
1) If the PA system is switched on, switch
it off completely first!
2) Connect the 4 Ω speaker to the 2-pole
connection “C” (negative pole) and
“4 Ω” (positive pole). Connect the
transformer via the 5-pole connection
to the 100 V line of the PA system:
Connection “C” to the negative pole
and, according to the desired volume,
one of the coloured wires to the posi-
tive pole (see table).

Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Ins-
tallateure mit Fachkenntnissen in der
100-V-Beschallungstechnik. Bitte lesen
Sie die Anleitung vor der Installation
gründlich durch und heben Sie sie für ein
späteres Nachlesen auf.
1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Dieser Audiotransformator ist speziell
für den Einsatz in ELA-Anlagen konzi-
piert, die mit 100-V-Technik arbeiten.
Über ihn lässt sich ein 4-Ω- Lautsprecher
an die 100-V-Leitung der Anlage an-
schließen.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den
sicheren Gebrauch
Der Transformator entspricht allen rele-
vanten Richtlinien der EU und trägt des-
halb das -Zeichen.
• Der Transformator ist nur zur Ver-
wendung im Innenbereich geeignet.
Schützen Sie ihn vor Feuchtigkeit und
Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztemperatur-
bereich 0 – 40 °C).
• Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur
ein trockenes, weiches Tuch, auf kei-
nen Fall Chemikalien oder Wasser.
• Wird der Transformator zweckent-
fremdet, falsch angeschlossen oder
überlastet, kann keine Haftung für
daraus resultierende Sach- oder Per-
sonenschäden und keine Garantie
für den Transformator übernommen
werden.
Soll der Transformator endgültig
aus dem Betrieb genommen wer-
den, übergeben Sie ihn zur um-
weltgerechten Entsorgung einem
örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
3 Elektrischer Anschluss
WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berührungs-
gefährliche Spannung bis
100 V an den Anschluss-
drähten an.
Der Anschluss darf nur durch Fachper-
sonal erfolgen. Isolieren Sie unbedingt
die nicht benutzten Anschlussdrähte.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Verstärker
nicht überlastet wird. Die Summe der
Leistungen aller angeschlossenen Laut-
sprecher (Transformatoren) darf die
Verstärkerleistung nicht überschreiten.
1) Falls die ELA-Anlage eingeschaltet ist,
diese zuerst komplett ausschalten!
2) Den 4-Ω-Lautsprecher mit dem 2-po-
ligen Anschluss „C“ (Minuspol) und
„4 Ω“ (Pluspol) verbinden. Den Trans-
formator über den 5-poligen Anschluss
mit der 100-V-Leitung der ELA- Anlage
verbinden: Anschluss „C“ an den
Minus pol und je nach gewünschter
Lautstärke einen der farbigen Drähte
an den Pluspol (siehe Tabelle).

Cette notice s’adresse aux installateurs
possédant des connaissances suffisantes
en technique de sonorisation ligne 100 V.
Veuillez lire la présente notice avec atten-
tion avant l‘installation et conservez-la pour
pouvoir vous y reporter ultérieurement.
1 Possibilités d’utilisation
Ce transformateur audio est spécialement
conçu pour une utilisation dans des ins-
tallations de Public Adress fonctionnant
en ligne 100 V. Via le transformateur, il
est possible de relier un haut-parleur 4 Ω
au circuit 100 V de l’installation.
2 Conseils d’utilisation
et de sécurité
Le transformateur répond à toutes les
directives nécessaires de l’Union euro-
péenne et porte donc le symbole .
• Le transformateur n’est conçu que pour
une utilisation en intérieur. Protégez-le
de l’humidité et de la chaleur (tempé-
rature ambiante admissible 0 – 40 °C).
• Pour le nettoyage, utilisez un chiffon
sec et doux, en aucun cas de produits
chimiques ou d’eau.
• Nous déclinons toute responsabilité
en cas de dommages corporels ou ma-
tériels résultants si le transformateur
est utilisé dans un but autre que celui
pour lequel il a été conçu, s’il n’est
pas correctement branché ou s’il y a
surcharge ; en outre, la garantie de-
viendrait caduque.
Lorsque le transformateur est dé-
finitivement retiré du service, vous
devez le déposer dans une usine de
recyclage adaptée pour contribuer à
son élimination non polluante.
3 Branchement électrique
AVERTISSEMENT Pendant le fonctionne-
ment, une tension dan-
gereuse jusqu’à 100 V
est présente aux fils de
branchement.
Seul un personnel habilité peut effectuer
la connexion. Isolez impérativement les
fils de branchement non utilisés.
Veillez à ce que l’amplificateur ne soit
pas en surcharge. La somme des puis-
sances de tous les haut-parleurs reliés
(transformateurs) ne doit pas dépasser
la puissance de l’amplificateur.
1) Si l’installation Public Adress est
allumée, vous devez tout d’abord
l’éteindre en totalité.
2) Reliez le haut-parleur 4 Ω à la con-
nexion 2 pôles «C» (pôle moins) et
«4 Ω» (pôle plus). Reliez le transforma-
teur via le branchement 5 pôles au
circuit 100 V de l’installation de Public
Adress : branchement «C» au pôle
moins et selon le volume souhaité, un
des fils colorés au pôle plus (voir table).

Queste istruzioni sono rivolte agli instal-
latori che possiedono delle conoscenze
specifiche sufficienti della tecnica di
sonorizzazione a 100 V. Vi preghiamo di
leggerle attentamente prima dell‘instal-
lazione e di conservarle per un uso futuro.
1 Possibilità d’impiego
Questo trasformatore audio è stato re-
alizzato specialmente per impianti PA
che lavorano con uscita audio 100 V. Con
questo trasformatore è possibile colle-
gare un altoparlante a 4 Ω con la linea
100 V dell’impianto.
2 Avvertenze di sicurezza
Il trasformatore è conforme a tutte le di-
rettive rilevanti dell’UE e pertanto porta
la sigla .
• Il trasformatore è adatto solo all’uso
all’interno di locali. Proteggerlo
dall’umidità e dal calore (temperatura
d’impiego ammessa fra 0 e 40 °C).
• Per la pulizia usare solo un panno
morbido, asciutto; non impiegare in
nessun caso prodotti chimici o acqua.
• Nel caso d’uso improprio, di collega-
menti sbagliati o di sovraccarica non
si assume nessuna responsabilità per
eventuali danni consequenziali a per-
sone o a cose e non si assume nessuna
garanzia per il trasformatore.
Se si desidera eliminare il trasfor-
matore definitivamente, conse-
gnarlo per lo smaltimento ad un’i-
stituzione locale per il riciclaggio.
3 Collegamento elettrico
AVVERTIMENTO Durante il funziona-
mento, ai fili di collega-
mento è presente una
tensione pericolosa di
100 V.
Il collegamento deve essere eseguito
solo da personale specializzato. Isolare
assolutamente i fili di collegamento
non utilizzati.
Fare attenzione a non sovraccaricare il
trasformatore. La somma delle potenze
di tutti gli altoparlanti (trasformatori)
collegati non deve superare la potenza
dell’amplificatore.
1) Se l’impianto PA è acceso occorre
dapprima spegnerlo completamente!
2) Collegare l’altoparlante a 4 Ω con i
contatti a 2 poli “C” (negativo) e con
“4 Ω” (positivo). Collegare il trasfor-
matore via il collegamento 5 polos con
la linea 100 V dell’impianto PA: con-
tatto “C” con il negativo e, secondo il
volume richiesto, uno dei fili colorati
con il positivo (vedi tabella).

Niniejsza instrukcja przeznaczona jest
instalatorów posiadających wiedzę w
zakresie systemów PA pracujących w
technice 100 V. Przed rozpoczęciem użyt-
kowania proszę zapoznać się z instrukcją,
a następnie zachować ją do wglądu.
1 Zastosowanie
Transformator jest przeznaczony do sto-
sowania w systemach wzmacniających
działających w technice 100 V. Dzięki
temu transformatorowi można podłą-
czyć głośnik 4 Ω do 100 V linii.
2 Informacje dotyczące
bezpieczeństwa
Transformator spełnia wszystkie wyma-
gania norm UE dzięki temu został ozna-
czony symbolem .
• Transformator jest przeznaczony tylko
do użytku wewnątrz pomieszczeń.
Urządzenie należy chronić przed wil-
gocią i wysoką temperaturą (dopusz-
czalny zakres temperatury to 0 – 40 °C).
• Do czyszczenia obudowy używać su-
chej, miękkiej ściereczki. Nie stosować
wody ani środków czyszczących.
• Producent ani dostawca nie ponosi
odpowiedzialności za wynikłe szkody
materialne, jeśli urządzenie było uży-
wane niezgodnie z przeznaczeniem,
zostało zainstalowane lub obsługi-
wane niepoprawnie lub poddawane
nieautoryzowanym naprawom.
Jeśli urządzenie nie będzie już nigdy
więcej używane, wskazane jest
przekazanie go do miejsca utylizacji
odpadów, aby zostało utylizowane
bez szkody dla środowiska.
3 Podłączenia elektryczne
UWAGA Podczas działania urządzenia,
na przyłączach może wystę-
pować napięcie do 100 V.
Wszystkie połączenia mogą
być przeprowadzane tylko przy wyłą-
czonym wzmacniaczu. Należy zaizolo-
wać wszystkie nieużywane kable.
Należy zwracać uwagę na odpowied-
nią biegunowość. W przypadku złego
połączenia, wzmacniacz może ulec
uszkodzeniu!
1) Jeśli system wzmacniający jest włą-
czony, należy go wyłączyć z sieci!
2) Podłącz 4 Ω głośnik do dwu-biegu-
nowego łącza “C” (biegun ujemny)
i “4 Ω” (biegun dodatni). Podłącz
transformator do 100 V linii systemu
wzmacniającego: Łącze “C” do bie-
guna ujemnego i w zależności od żą-
danej głośności, jeden z kolorowych
kabli do bieguna dodatniego (patrz
tabela).

Estas instrucciones van dirigidas a insta-
ladores con un conocimiento suficiente
sobre la tecnología de 100 V en aplica-
ciones para megafonía. Lea atentamente
estas instrucciones antes de la instalación
y guárdelas para usos posteriores.
1 Posibilidades de utilización
Este transformador audio está especial-
mente fabricado para una utilización en
instalaciones de megafonía que funcio-
nan en línea 100 V. Vía el transformador,
es posible conectar un altavoz de 4 Ω al
circuito 100 V de la instalación.
2 Consejos de utilización
y de seguridad
El transformador cumple con todas las
directivas relevantes de la UE y por lo
tanto está marcado con el símbolo .
• El transformador está adecuado para
utilizarse sólo en interiores. Protéjalo
de la humedad y del calor (tempera-
tura ambiente admisible: 0 – 40 ºC).
• Utilice sólo un paño suave y seco para
la limpieza; no utilice nunca ni agua ni
productos químicos.
• No podrá reclamarse garantía o res-
ponsabilidad alguna por cualquier
daño personal o material resultante si
el transformador se utiliza para otros
fines diferentes a los originalmente
concebidos, si no se conecta adecua-
damente o si se sobrecarga.
Si va a poner el transformador de-
finitivamente fuera de servicio, llé-
velo a la planta de reciclaje más cer-
cana para que su eliminación no sea
perjudicial para el medioambiente.
3 Conexión eléctrica
ADVERTENCIA
Durante el funcionamiento,
una tensión peligrosa hasta
100 V está presente en los
hilos de conexión.
Solo una persona habilitada puede efec-
tuar la conexión. Aísle imperativamente
los hilos de conexión no utilizados.
Observe siempre a adaptar la potencia
correctamente. ¡Toda adaptación erró-
nea puede dañar el amplificador de
megafonía!
1) Si la instalación de megafonía está
conectada, debe antes de todo des-
conectarla en totalidad.
2) Conecte el altavoz 4 Ω a la conexión
2 polos “C” (polo negativo) y “4 Ω”
(polo positivo). Conecte el transforma-
dor vía la conexión 5 polos al circuito
100 V de la instalación de megafonía:
conexión “C” al polo negativo y según
el volumen deseado, uno de los hilos
colorados al polo positivo (vea tabla).
