Moteur à chambre de compression

Cette notice s’adresse aux installateurs possédant des

connaissances en technique de sonorisation ligne 100 V. Veuil-

lez lire la présente notice avec attention avant l‘installation

et conservez-la pour pouvoir vous y reporter ultérieurement.

1 Possibilités d’utilisation

Combinés à des pavillons à chambre de compression adaptés,

par exemple SK-22 ou SK-159 de MONACOR, les moteurs à

chambre de compression KU-…, version en fonte d’aluminium

robuste moulée sous pression, sont spécialement conçus pour

une utilisation dans des installations de sonorisation. Les mo-

dèles KU-616T et KU-916T avec transformateur 100 V sont

conçus pour des installations de Public Adress fonctionnant

en ligne 100 V, le modèle KU-516 avec une impédance de 16 Ω

est prévu pour un branchement à un ampliﬁcateur avec une

impédance de sortie inférieure.

Les moteurs sont résistants aux intempéries (IP 66) et sont

montés via un ﬁletage standard 3,5 cm (1

⁄ ) sur le pavillon.8”

2 Conseils importants d’utilisation

Le moteur répond à toutes les directives nécessaires de l’Union

européenne et porte donc le symbole .

•

Protégez le moteur de températures extrêmes (température

d’utilisation admissible: −20 °C à +50 °C).

•

Pour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un chiffon doux,

sec ou légèrement humide, n’utilisez jamais de produits

chimiques ou de détergents agressifs.

•

Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dommages

matériels ou corporels résultants si le moteur est utilisé dans

un but autre que celui pour lequel il a été conçu, s’il n’est

pas correctement installé ou s’il y a surcharge ; en outre, la

garantie deviendrait caduque.

Lorsque le moteur est déﬁnitivement retiré du

service, vous devez le déposer dans une usine de

recyclage adaptée pour contribuer à son élimina-

tion non polluante.

3 Montage

Dévissez le cache de protection rouge au-dessus du ﬁletage

3,5 cm et vissez le moteur via le ﬁletage sur la face arrière du

pavillon à compression.

4 Branchement électrique

AVERTISSE-

MENT

Sur les modèles KU-616T et KU-916T, une ten-

sion de contact dangereuse jusqu’à 100 V est

présente au câble de branchement pendant le

fonctionnement. Seul un personnel qualiﬁé peut

effectuer l’installation !

Faites attention, sur ces modèles, à la charge de l’ampliﬁca-

teur PA par les haut-parleurs. Une surcharge peut endom-

mager l’ampliﬁcateur. La somme des puissances de l’ensem-

ble des haut-parleurs reliés ne doit pas dépasser la puissance

de l’ampliﬁcateur.

1) Avant le branchement, éteignez l’ampliﬁcateur auquel le

haut-parleur doit être relié.

2) Sur les modèles KU-616T et KU-916T, réglez la puissance

nominale souhaitée avec le sélecteur sur la face arrière. Uti-

lisez pour ce faire un tournevis.

3) Reliez le haut-parleur via les deux bornes à vis (modèle KU-

516) ou les conducteurs (modèles KU-616T et KU-916T) à

la sortie haut-parleur de l’ampliﬁcateur (rouge = pôle plus,

noir = pôle moins).

Si vous branchez plusieurs haut-parleurs, veillez à ce

que les haut-parleurs aient tous la même polarité et que

l’ampliﬁcateur ne soit pas en surcharge.

Horn Driver Unit

These instructions are intended for installers with speciﬁc

knowledge in 100 V technology for PA applications. Please

read the instructions carefully prior to installation and

keep them for later reference.

1 Applications

Combined with the matching horn speakers, e. g. MONACOR

SK-22 or SK-159, the horn driver units KU-… made of rug-

ged diecast aluminium are designed for PA systems. Models

KU-616T and KU-916T equipped with a 100 V transformer are

ideally suited for PA using 100 V while model KU-516 with an

impedance of 16 Ω is provided for connection to an ampliﬁer

with low output impedance.

The driver units are weatherproof (IP 66) and are mounted

to the horn via a 3.5 cm (1

⁄8”) standard thread.

2 Important Notes

The driver unit corresponds to all relevant directives of the EU

and is therefore marked with .

•

Protect the unit against extreme high or low temperatures

(admissible ambient temperature range −20 °C to +50 °C).

•

For cleaning only use a soft cloth, dry or slightly damp; never

use chemicals or aggressive detergents.

•

No guarantee claims for the unit and no liability for any

resulting personal damage or material damage will be ac-

cepted if the unit is used for other purposes than originally

intended, if it is not expertly installed or if it is overloaded.

If the driver unit is to be put out of operation de-

ﬁnitively, take it to a local recycling plant for a

disposal which is not harmful to the environment.

3 Installation

Unscrew the red protecting cap covering the 3.5 cm thread and

screw the driver unit via the thread to the rear side of the horn.

4 Electrical Connection

WARNING For models KU-616T and KU-916T, there is

a hazard of contact with a voltage of up to

100 V at the connection cable during opera-

tion. Installation must always be carried out by

skilled personnel only!

Observe the correct power matching for models KU-616T and

KU-916T. The total power of all speakers connected must not

exceed the ampliﬁer power. An overload will damage the

PA ampliﬁer!

1) Prior to connecting the speaker, switch off the ampliﬁer to

which the speaker is to be connected!

2) For models KU-616T and KU-916T, adjust the desired power

rating with the rotary switch on the rear side by means of

a screwdriver.

3) Connect the speaker via the two screw terminals (model

KU-516) or cores (models KU-616T and KU-916T) to the

speaker output of the ampliﬁer (red = positive pole, black

= negative pole).

When connecting several speakers, make sure that all

speakers have the same polarity and that the ampliﬁer is

not overloaded.

Druckkammer-Treibereinheit

Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installateure mit Fach-

kenntnissen in der 100-V-Beschallungstechnik. Bitte lesen

Sie die Anleitung vor der Installation gründlich durch und

heben Sie sie für ein späteres Nachlesen auf.

1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten

Die Druckkammer-Treibereinheiten KU-… in robuster Alumi-

nium-Druckguss-Ausführung sind, in Kombination mit pas-

senden Druckkammerhörnern wie z. B. SK-22 oder SK-159 von

MONACOR, für den Einsatz in Beschallungsanlagen konzipiert.

Die Modelle KU-616T und KU-916T mit 100-V-Übertrager sind

speziell für ELA-Anlagen ausgelegt, die mit 100-V-Technik ar-

beiten, das Modell KU-516 mit einer Impedanz von 16 Ω ist für

den Anschluss an einen Verstärker mit niedriger Ausgangsim-

pedanz vorgesehen.

Die Treibereinheiten sind wetterfest (IP 66) und werden

über ein 3,5-cm-Standardgewinde (1

⁄8”) am Horn montiert.

2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch

Die Treibereinheit entspricht allen relevanten Richt linien der EU

und trägt deshalb das -Zeichen.

•

Schützen Sie die Treibereinheit vor großer Hitze und Kälte

(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich −20 °C bis +50 °C).

•

Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes oder leicht

angefeuchtetes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Chemikalien

oder aggressive Reinigungsmittel.

•

Wird die Treibereinheit zweckentfremdet, nicht fachgerecht

installiert oder überlastet, kann keine Haftung für daraus re-

sultierende Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Garantie

für die Einheit übernommen werden.

Soll die Treibereinheit endgültig aus dem Betrieb

genommen werden, übergeben Sie sie zur um-

weltgerechten Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recy-

clingbetrieb.

3 Montage

Die rote Schutzkappe über dem 3,5-cm-Gewinde abschrauben

und die Treibereinheit über das Gewinde an die Rückseite des

Druckkammerhorns schrauben.

4 Elektrischer Anschluss

WARNUNG Bei den Modellen KU-616T und KU-916T liegt

im Betrieb berührungsgefährliche Spannung bis

100 V an der Anschlussleitung an. Die Installa-

tion darf nur durch Fachpersonal erfolgen!

Achten Sie bei den Modellen KU-616T und KU-916T auf eine

richtige Anpassung der Leistung. Die Summe der Leistungen

aller angeschlossenen Lautsprecher darf die Verstärkerleis-

tung nicht überschreiten. Eine falsche Anpassung führt zur

Zerstörung des ELA- Verstärkers!

1) Vor dem Anschluss den Verstärker, an den der Lautsprecher

angeschlossen werden soll, ausschalten!

2) Bei den Modellen KU-616T und KU-916T die gewünschte

Nennleistung mit dem Drehschalter auf der Rückseite ein-

stellen. Dazu einen Schraubendreher zur Hilfe nehmen.

3) Den Lautsprecher über die zwei Schraubklemmen (Modell

KU-516) bzw. Adern (Modelle KU-616T und KU-916T) an

den Lautsprecherausgang des Verstärkers anschließen (rot

= Pluspol, schwarz = Minuspol).

Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern darauf

achten, dass die Lautsprecher alle gleich gepolt werden und

dass der Verstärker nicht überlastet wird.

Profesjonalny driver tubowy

Niniejsza instrukcja przeznaczona jest instalatorów posia-

dających wiedzę w zakresie systemów PA pracujących w

technice 100 V. Przed rozpoczęciem użytkowania proszę za-

poznać się z instrukcją, a następnie zachować ją do wglądu.

1 Zastosowanie

Profesjonalne drivery tubowe KU-… znajdują zastosowanie

w systemach radiowęzłowych, w połączeniu z odpowiednimi

głośnikami tubowymi, np. SK-22 czy SK-159 z oferty ﬁrmy

MONACOR. Drivery wykonane zostały z odpornego aluminium

odlanego ciśnieniowo. Modele KU-616T oraz KU-916T wypo-

sażone są w transformator 100 V, dzięki czemu nadają się do

zastosowania w systemach radiowęzłowych, pracujących na

liniach 100 V. Model KU-516 o impedancji 16 Ω jest przezna-

czony do wzmacniacza o niskiej impedancji wyjściowej.

Drivery tubowe wykonane są z tworzywa odpornego na

działanie czynników atmosferycznych (klasa ochrony IP 66).

Głośniki tubowe montuje się na gwincie 3,5 cm (1

⁄8”).

2 Bezpieczeństwo użytkowania

Ponieważ urządzenie spełnia wymogi norm obowiązujących w

Unii Europejskiej, jest oznaczone symbolem .

•

Urządzenie należy chronić przed działaniem bardzo wysokich

oraz bardzo niskich temperatur (dopuszczalna temperatura

otoczenia −20 °C do +50 °C).

•

Do czyszczenia urządzenia należy używać suchej, miękkiej

tkaniny; nie wolno stosować wody ani środków czyszczących.

•

Producent ani dostawca nie ponoszą odpowiedzialności za

wynikłe szkody (uszkodzenie sprzętu lub obrażenia użytkow-

nika), jeśli urządzenie jest używane niezgodnie z przeznacze-

niem, lub jeśli zostało nieprawidłowo zainstalowane bądź

nastąpiło jego przeciążenie.

Jeśli urządzenie ma zostać ostatecznie wycofane z

użycia, należy przekazać je do punktu utylizacji od-

padów, aby uniknąć zanieczyszczenia środowiska.

3 Montaż urządzenia

Należy odkręcić czerwoną zaślepkę zabezpieczającą gwint

3,5 cm, następnie przykręcić driver za pomocą gwintu do tylnej

części głośnika tubowego.

4 Podłączenie urządzenia

UWAGA (dotyczy modeli KU-616T oraz KU-916T), podczas

pracy urządzenia na przyłączu linii występuje na-

pięcie osiągające do 100 V, które stanowi potenc-

jalne zagrożenie dla zdrowia lub życia. Podłącze-

nie urządzenia należy zlecić specjaliście!

Szczególną uwagę należy zwrócić na odpowiedni dobór

mocy głośników KU-616T i KU-916T do mocy wzmacniacza.

Nieodpowiedni dobór mocy głośników może spowodować

uszkodzenie wzmacniacza PA!

1) Przed rozpoczęciem podłączania głośnika należy wyłączyć

wzmacniacz, do którego ma być podłączony głośnik!

2) Dotyczy modeli KU-616T i KU-916T: należy ustawić żądaną

wartość mocy znamionowej głośnika za pomocą regulatora,

znajdującego się w tylnej części urządzenia (przy użyciu śru-

bokrętu).

3) Należy podłączyć głośnik do wyjścia głośnikowego we

wzmacniaczu za pomocą dwóch terminali śrubowych

(model KU-516) lub rdzeni (modele KU-616T i KU-916T);

czerwony rdzeń = biegun dodatni, czarny rdzeń = biegun

ujemny.

Przy podłączaniu kilku głośników, należy się upewnić,

czy wszystkie głośniki mają odpowiednią biegunowość i czy

wzmacniacz nie został przeciążony.

Z zastrzeżeniem możliwości zmian.

Estas instrucciones van dirigidas a instaladores con conoci-

mientos técnicos sobre la tecnología de 100 V en aplicacio-

nes para megafonía. Lea atentamente estas instrucciones

antes de la instalación y guárdelas para usos posteriores.

1 Aplicaciones

Combinados con los altavoces de pabellón adecuados, p. ej.

SK-22 o SK-159 de MONACOR, los motores de pabellón KU-…

realizados en alu minio fundido a presión resistente están di-

señados para sis temas de megafonía. Los modelos KU-616T y

KU-916T equipados con un transformador de 100 V son ideales

para sistemas de megafonía con una técnica de 100 V mientras

que el modelo KU-516 con una impedancia de 16 Ω se propor-

ciona para una conexión a un ampliﬁcador con impedancia de

salida baja. Los motores son resistentes a la intemperie (IP 66)

y están montados al pabellón mediante una rosca de 3,5 cm

⁄8”) estándar.

2 Notas Importantes

El motor corresponde a todas las directivas relevantes de la UE

y por ello está marcado con .

•

Proteja el aparato de las temperaturas extremadamente altas

o bajas (temperatura de ambiente admisible −20 °C a +50 °C).

•

Utilice sólo un paño suave y seco para la limpieza; no utilice

nunca ni agua ni productos químicos.

•

No podrá reclamarse garantía o responsabilidad alguna por

cualquier daño personal o material resultante si el motor

de pabellón se utiliza para otros ﬁnes diferentes a los ori-

ginalmente concebidos, si no se instala adecuadmente o si

se sobrecarga.

Si va a poner el motor de pabellón deﬁnitivamente

fuera de servicio, llévelo a la planta de reciclaje

más cercana para que su eliminación no sea per-

judicial para el medioambiente.

3 Instalación

Desatornille la tapa protectora roja que cubre la rosca de

3,5 cm y atornille el motor mediante la rosca a la parte trasera

del altavoz de pabellón.

4 Conexión Eléctrica

ADVERTENCIA Para los modelos KU-616T y KU-916T, existe

un riesgo de contacto con un voltaje de

hasta 100 V en el cable de conexión durante

el funcionamiento. ¡La instalación sólo debe

llevarla a cabo personal especializado!

Observe que la potencia sea la adecuada para los modelos

KU-616T y KU-916T. ¡Una sobrecarga puede dañar el ampli-

ﬁcador! La potencia total de todos los altavoces conectados

no puede sobrepasar la potencia del ampliﬁcador.

1) ¡Antes de conectar el altavoz, apague el ampliﬁcador al que

el altavoz tiene que ser conectado!

2) Para los modelos KU-616T y KU-916T, ajuste la potencia

nominal deseada con el interruptor giratorio en la parte

trasera mediante un destornillador.

3) Conecte el altavoz mediante los dos terminales de tornillo

(modelo KU-516) o conductores (modelos KU-616T y KU-

916T) a la salida de altavoz del ampliﬁcador (rojo = polo

positivo, negro = polo negativo).

Cuando conecte varios altavoces, asegúrese de que

todos los altavoces tienen la misma polaridad y que el am-

pliﬁcador no se sobrecarga.

Unità driver a compressione

Queste istruzioni sono rivolte agli installatori che possie-

dono delle conoscenze speciﬁche della tecnica di sono-

rizzazione a 100 V. Vi preghiamo di leggerle attentamente

prima dell‘installazione e di conservarle per un uso futuro.

1 Possibilità d’impiego

Le unità driver a compressione KU-…, nella versione robusta in

pressofuso di alluminio, sono stati realizzati, in combinazione

con relative trombe a compressione, come p. es. SK-22 o SK-159

della MONACOR, per l’impiego in impianti di sonorizzazione.

I modelli KU-616T e KU-916T con trasformatore 100 V sono

previsti in modo particolare per gli im pianti PA che lavorano

con uscita audio 100 V; il modello KU-516 con impedenza di

16 Ω è previsto per il collegamento con un ampliﬁcatore con

bassa impedenza d’uscita. Le unità driver sono resistenti alle

intemperie (IP 66) e vengono montate alle trombe per mezzo

di una ﬁlettatura standard 3,5 cm (1

⁄8”).

2 Avvertenze importanti per l’uso

L’unità driver è conforme a tutte le direttive rilevanti dell’UE e

pertanto porta la sigla .

•

Proteggere l’unità driver dal forte calore e dal freddo (tempe-

ratura d’impiego ammessa fra −20 °C e +50 °C).

•

Per la pulizia usare solo un panno asciutto o leggermente

inumidito, morbido; non impiegare in nessun caso prodotti

chimici o detergenti aggressivi.

•

Nel caso d’uso improprio, di installazione non a regola d’arte

o di sovraccarico dell’unità driver, non si assume nessuna

responsabilità per eventuali danni consequenziali a persone

o a cose e non si assume nessuna garanzia per l’unità.

Se si desidera eliminare l’unità driver deﬁnitiva-

mente, consegnarla per lo smaltimento ad un’isti-

tuzione locale per il riciclaggio.

3 Montaggio

Svitare il cappuccio rosso sopra la ﬁlettatura 3,5 cm e avvitare

l’unità driver sul retro della tromba a compressione servendosi

della ﬁlettatura.

4 Collegamento elettrico

AVVERTIMENTO Nei modelli KU-616T e KU-916T, il cavo di

collegamento presenta durante il funzio-

namento una tensione pericolosa ﬁno a

100 V. L’installazione dev’essere eseguita

solo da una persona esperta!

Nei modelli KU-616T e KU-916T, fare attenzione al corretto

adattamento alla potenza. La somma delle potenze di tutti gli

altoparlanti collegati non deve superare la potenza dell’am-

pliﬁcatore. Un sovraccarico può danneggiare l’ampliﬁcatore!

1) Prima di eseguire il collegamento, spegnere completamente

l’ampliﬁcatore al quale va collegato l’altoparlante!

2) Nei modelli KU-616T e KU-916T, impostare la potenza nomi-

nale desiderata con la manopola posta sul retro, servendosi

di un cacciavite.

3) Collegare l’altoparlante con l’uscita altoparlanti dell’ampli-

ﬁcatore per mezzo risp. dei due morsetti (modello KU-516)

o dei due conduttori (modelli KU-616T e KU-916T) (rosso =

polo positivo, nero = polo negativo).

Nel caso di collegamento di più altoparlanti fare atten-

zione all’identica polarità di tutti gli altoparlanti e di non

sovraccaricare l’ampliﬁcatore.
